Week 26: run for fun … or something like that

Despite the heat I kept working hard on my form and condition. Most of it was a combination of commuting and getting my workout done around work and lots of obligations.

Yesterday I took part in @raenn_de_uetliberg for the third year in a row. I love this run and due to the heat the organisers did everything to make it as comfortable as possible for all the runners and viewers. It was also the first time my son ran a race and my wife helped out. The weather was brutal with 35 degrees at the start and they extended the course slightly.

The organisation was fantastic with plenty of water stations and also hoses and sponges, they did everything to make it as bearable as possible.

Today I met with my friend Gabriel for a long overdue run and chat. I ran to him and we did a nice 10k despite the oncoming heat.

Cycling 83 kilometers with 1338 meters in elevation
Walking 14 kilometers with 273 meters in elevation
Running 92 kilometers, 1536 meters ascending in 9:12 hours of total running time.

Total time doing physical exercises: 16:40 hours

Marathons: 84
Half-Marathons: 378
