Well it’s been just over a couple of weeks since the MOT failure, but SHE’S FULLY BACK!

Dreams on Driveways has been nothing short of sensational during periods of my absence, working on stripping and rebuilding various components with me diving in and stealing the glory by throwing the wheel back on at the end 😝 Just kidding! I’d have been lost without him but we’ve had some brilliant nights attacking the work we’ve needed to do when we have a departure date of 8th September for Leg 1 of our Pyrenees Road Trip with @gtdrivingtours 👏🏼

It was the one job, that just kept giving. But she’s back together. Today some final touches and a quick once over from the guys at Houghton Le Spring @team_protyre has capped it off. Fighting fit, all straight and tight, and ready to go! A spruce up in a couple of days time and we’ll be away.

Three days, one packed Tread Shed. 🏁

CarFest 2026 has been brilliant from start to finish. From the atmosphere in the paddock to the sessions on stage, it's been a great one to be part of.

Huge thanks to Mat Watson from @matwatsoncars and Chris Ramsey from @pluginadventure for joining us, our expert panellists from Protyre Autocare, Michelin and BP, and to @petrol_ped for hosting it all.
Great chat, great stories, and a proper packed Tread Shed across the whole weekend.

Proud to be Official Paddock Partner alongside @michelinuk .

A weekend like no other, made possible by some incredible partners. 💛

From the Premium Lounge and StarFest to KidsFest, FoodFest, the Track & Paddock and Festival Dash, our partners helped bring so many of the CarFest moments we know and love to life. 🚗🎶✨

A huge thank you to every one of our 2026 partners for being part of the CarFest family - we couldn’t do it without you!

Here’s to the brands, experiences and memories that made CarFest 2026 one to remember. 🫶

Well that’s Car Fest done. What a fantastic 3 days representing @michelinuk and @team_protyre in the Tread Shed hosting panel discussions. I’ve met some fantastic people, chatted to so many Peddlerz and caught up with old friends. Epic behind the scenes video with Moggy from @electricclassiccars coming tomorrow. We do our best to destroy a set of Cup 2s in his Tesla powered Beetle 😎

A penultimate weekend in August with the lovely family focused festival, Carfest at Laverstoke Farm Park! 🏎️💨

A fantastic way to come to the end of an incredible summer season, supporting UK children’s charities. The festival raises over a million each year for children in need, which is a phenomenal amount!

They’ve just announced this is the last year at Laverstoke, but they’ve released some exciting news that in 2026 they will be moving to Silverstone! 🏁

The dramatic exit deserves an appearance in this post because the past four week have been..😴

Tonight’s video contains a huge burnout and lots of smoke with Moggy from @electricclassiccars and his 600 horsepower Beetle. Ever wondered what Line Lock does 🤔😂

I also do some work with @michelinuk and @team_protyre @carfestevent 😜

Spring Clean. ‘Just like spring cleaning your home, your car needs a seasonal reset to shake off months of salt, grime, and wear… However you car, spring is the perfect time to clean it out, protect it, and get your ride ready for everything the warmer months bring.’ @turtlewax

This week I've been giving my car some attention after the winter months storage. Here are the highlights.

Day 47 - Leaving the Wakhan Corridor one last time. The place is incredible and worth a visit if you get the chance. 👌
.
Up to the Pamir highway and into the wilderness, the place is barren, the roads are empty and in pretty terrible condition for that matter too. 🙈.
