Sweat so much in the car filming this. Gonna go take some electrolytes.

Not that there is necessarily any harm in “abusing” electrolytes. If you’re already in a position where extra sodium isn’t recommended then serious lifestyle changes are necessary.

What do sodium and potassium actually do for us? They play a large (it wouldn’t happen without it) role in muscle contraction. Without getting too far into the science they’re responsible for transmitting the signal for muscle to contract.

These (sodium and potassium) need water to dissolve. Water helps this transmission of signal operate as it should. When there’s too much water we flush out essential minerals which can cause cells to swell systemically (all over) which is not good. We see this in selection candidates. which is why in the military forced hydration has been removed as a safety measure.

When there’s not enough water we pull water from cells which spirals into a degree of complications and risks all of which under the umbrella of dehydration (varying from minor to severe).

The reason these are a supplement is just that. They should be supplemented appropriately when necessary.

Squat tip 1.

First thing you move is your knees tracking in line over your toes. As long as you can. This lets you stay upright longer.

The more upright we are the less sheering force on our spine.

Try out the Back Squat Improvement program on the ONTHEX Training app if you’re wanting to seriously level up your squat game.

Service members, we all have an obligation to be able to shoot.

Last year, Team 50 won best shot at the Best Ranger Competition. Here’s what I think my partner did (I just watched).
