HUNTER CLASSIC RECAP 🏆
Grateful. Proud. Hungry for more.

What a show! From the production @gilcoproductions to how smoothly everything ran, the @npchunterclassic @emanhunter @executive_judge1 was incredibly well put together. I had a fantastic time and met so many hardworking, like-minded people who share this passion.

Very happy with the package I brought to the stage. The cards didn’t fall exactly how we hoped, but I’m walking away proud of the work and motivated for what’s next.

🥈 Men’s Physique Novice — 2nd
🥉 Men’s Physique Masters 40+ — 3rd
🥈 Men’s Physique Open Class D — 2nd

Huge thank-you to my coach, @chris_j3u , and my posing coach, @big_steve_physique , for your support, mentoring, and guidance. Thank you for pushing me and helping me present the work we’ve put in.

We received valuable feedback on areas to improve, and we’re putting it straight to work. Next stop: @npcifbbpronightofchampions in Chattanooga in a few weeks. The goal is to bring an even better package. 🎯
To my family and friends: thank you for the love, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.
Especially to my wife Caitlyn @c888lyn , who has had the “pleasure” of my less than great prep moods, extended gym hours, and early morning cardio sessions 😂❤️ Thank you for your patience, your sacrifices, and for being in my corner through all of it. I love you!

A special thank you to my mom @trudyaberlin , who has always supported me throughout my life and first sparked my love for fitness. Growing up watching you train for marathons, triathlons, and Ironman competitions showed me what strength, discipline, and dedication look like. Your example lit the fire for my own love of fitness and the gym—a passion that still drives me today. Thank you for inspiring me to start and for always being in my corner. Love you, Mom. ❤️

To my brother @nash_fitlife and @rjapana787 thank you for your continued support and love!!

Love you all. I’m thankful for the opportunity to put passion to purpose and share this experience with the people who make it possible.

Now it’s time to get back to work, grind even harder, and finish the year strong.

Sometimes I feel like a failure like I’m not doing enough or that I’m just a burden. I wake up at 3:55 AM every day follow the same routine and keep pushing because bodybuilding has become one of the things keeping me going But behind the discipline the gym and the smiles, theres a man fighting battles that people dont see I’m tired of reliving my accident tired of being so emotional and tired of fighting thoughts that sometimes get darker than I let people know I have a big heart I feel everything deeply and I worry about my family more than I worry about myself Sometimes I just wish they could see how much I’m fighting inside I want to be here for my queen and my kids I want to be the husband and father they deserve I know I’m not perfect and sometimes my own mind makes me feel like not enough. But I’m learning that being a warrior doesn’t mean you never break down it means you keep reaching for help when the battle gets too heavyThere was a time when I thought about ending my life after my youngest child’s birthday because I was exhausted from feeling this way. But I’m still here, and I thank Father Jesus Christ for His patience, His mercy, and for giving me another day to fight.**I’m not meant to be six feet under the ground. I’m meant to live, to heal, to love my family, and to discover that my life is worth more than what my mind sometimes tells me.**I’m still fighting. Not just for bodybuilding, not just for my goals, but for my children, my queen, my faith, and myself. 🙏🏽❤️‍🩹

Building muscle after 40 starts with habits you can repeat.

Chicken, eggs, Greek yogurt, or a shake—choose protein sources that fit your meals, budget, and digestion.

Early workout? Keep your fuel simple. Rice, oats, potatoes, and fruit all have a place. Find the portions and timing that help you train comfortably.

Keep a training log. Work toward another controlled rep or a little more weight while keeping your technique consistent.

Give recovery space on your calendar, too. Protect your sleep, take your rest days, and adjust when you need to.

At 40, I’m still showing up, learning, and putting those basics into practice.

Save this for your next training week. Follow @rocketcityfit for more training, nutrition, and my bodybuilding journey.

Four days out. Still chasing better. 🔥

The early mornings. The measured meals. The sessions when energy was low. Every day of showing up brought me closer to this moment.

October 24 — bringing my best to the stage. 💪

What goal are you working toward right now? 👇

WEEK 8 | PUSH PHASE

Average weight: 218.43 lbs (+0.86)
Calories: 3,200/day
Training: 5x/week
Cardio: 12,000 steps/day

Another week of progression on the scale. Even with being sick this week, training was solid, recovery was good, and sleep held up pretty well.

Happy with the results of another week of checking the boxes and continuing to grow gradually while keeping conditioning in check.

This is a slow process. We’re not forcing food, chasing rapid weight gain, or making unnecessary changes. The goal is to stack consistent weeks, make small adjustments when needed, and build quality tissue while staying in control of body composition.

11 more weeks to push until we transition into a prep phase at the start of the new year and more excited than ever to bring my best package to date

Looking to compete? @ngcontestprep is currently accepting competitors. Whether you’re preparing for your first show or looking to bring your best package yet to the stage. We’re here to help you execute every phase of the process.

🎯 FOCUS. FOCUS. FOCUS. 🔥💪🏽

I WON’T GIVE UP UNTIL I MAKE IT TO THE ARNOLD CLASSIC 🏆, and I won’t stop until I make it to the MR. OLYMPIA STAGE! 🌎👑

Win or lose, if I make it that far, I’ve already won in my heart because I refused to give up on my dream. 🙏🏼❤️

But don’t get it twisted… I’M AIMING FOR THAT 🥇 FIRST PLACE! 😤🔥

One day at a time, one workout at a time, with God leading the way. They can doubt me, but they can never take away my determination. 💯

9 DAYS OUT. Every rep still has a purpose. 🔥

Energy’s lower, focus is locked in, and the work continues. Putting the finishing touches on this back before stepping on the men’s physique stage at 40.

Months of early alarms, measured meals, and showing up—even when I didn’t feel like it. Now it’s about executing the plan and making every day count.

October 24. Almost time. ⏳💪

Amazing edit from @tcdesig thanks again for putting this amazing piece together!

A lot of hard work this prep and what better way to showcase it than this! Just add more fuel to the fire this offseason to bring a package that far exceeds this one 😤

Same breakfast. Five ways to switch up the flavor. 💪🥣

The Goliath five-flavor taste test lineup—mixed into my breakfast cream of rice:

🍓 Strawberry Smoothie — The fruity option, bringing a strawberry-and-cream twist to the lineup.

🥜 Peanut Butter Chocolate — A classic pairing for anyone who loves nutty peanut butter with chocolate.

🍦 Vicious Vanilla — The versatile classic. Vanilla, cream of rice, and cinnamon make a simple breakfast combination.

🍫 Wonca Chocolate — Lush, rich chocolate flavor in every spoonful. This one brings the chocolate-lover appeal. 🔥

🍪 Cookies N Cream — A cookies-and-cream twist for anyone drawn to dessert-inspired breakfast flavors.

Keeping the routine consistent while adding variety to the bowl.

Which one gets your first spoonful? Comment your pick 👇
