ADPi at AFLV with @uakronphc ! 🌟

Earlier this year, two of our sisters had the opportunity to travel to Indianapolis for the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values Conference. Here, they got to learn from other chapters & councils, meet with other ADPi’s from around the country, & collaborate with other UA sorority women on ways to better our community this upcoming year! We are so beyond thankful for the wonderful opportunities provided to us by @akronfsl & @uakronphc ! 🤍

You don’t have to remember the day to honor the legacy.

For a generation born after 9/11/01, honoring this history isn’t only about looking back... it’s about understanding the world we inherited and carrying those lessons of resilience into the future.

For those born before 9/11/01, this date has been a big part of our lives. We saw what the world used to be. We felt the pain of being in this time.

We honor. We reflect. We will never forget. 🇺🇸🕊️

Leadership is stronger when we invest in it together. 🔺

This summer, Brixton Carlisle is25 had the opportunity to attend Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) with @teamaflv, joining student leaders from across the fraternity and sorority community to grow their leadership skills and explore how they can make an impact.

Here’s what he had to say about the experience:

“UIFI changed the way I think about leadership because it showed me that it’s less about authority and more about influence. You do not need a title to make an impact; often, leadership is simply the willingness to stand by your principles, challenge complacency, and set an example through your actions.

Within our own chapters and communities, we have the same opportunity to lead. When we see something that is wrong, ineffective, or capable of being better, we should have the courage to challenge it and take initiative. Getting involved means recognizing that our actions have influence, and true leadership is using that influence to leave our community better than we found it.”

Virginia Tech represented well at UIFI this summer! 🧡

Five Hokies took part in the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI), joining students from across the country for leadership development, connection, and reflection on the future of fraternity and sorority life.

We’re also proud to have one of our staff members serve as a small group facilitator, helping create meaningful learning experiences for students throughout the institute.

We’re excited to see how these Hokies bring what they learned back to our community!
