Our new LED lights have arrived! CA467 students have been trying them out and started shooting with them last weekend. We’re excited to see what they will do! Things to love: The lights are full color— no more gels 🌈 They don’t generate heat— no more burns 🔥 They don’t use much power— no more blown fuses ⚡ They have onboard dimming— easy exposure control 🌅 Modifiers from soft box through fresnel are included 🎥 Lighting FX like fire and TV light are built in 📺 💡 No shame on you 1K Baby, but this is a big step-up from the jump. 🔆 The L&S Instructional Laboratory Modernization Program and the Hamel Family Digital Media Lab Endowment made these improvements possible. Thank you!!! Nina Ham, Paul Marschall, Noah Frassetto, Corey Millikin, and Team Bashet gave us some excellent advice while we were selecting these fixtures. THRILLED to announce the 🌎 premiere of Your Night is My Day at the Mill Valley Film Festival!!! At its ❤️, YNIMD is modern love story—not in the ways you might expect. When it’s too easy to swipe, scroll, and move on, YNIMD asks: what if we gave people, love (and life) the time to unfold? You might just be surprised by what you find. My deepest thanks 🙏🏻 to every person who had a hand in making YNIMD (full credits soon to come) 🎥 Arri Alexa 35, with Arri Master Anamorphic lenses Directed by Jen Sall Written by Jen Sall & Ellen Huggins Produced by Nance Messineo, Jen Sall Director of Photography - Gavin Kelly, ASC Editor - S. The World Premiere was on April 2, 2000. 1) Kris, John, and Erik at the State Street Poster. 2) Some of the crew on the walkway to the stage door theater, where Milk Punch played. My mom and sister were there too.
