SEPTEMBER'S CAT GAME!
As comforting (up to a certain point) the Cat Game of August was, as painful was the one from September - for the eyes that is!
@teamcoil didn't just come up with a crazy maze to struggle through as a (you guessed it) cat - things are made even more difficult and absurd by the amount of neon colours, flashes and graphical glitches this game lives by.
But what may sound like a painful challenge at first has made 𝑷𝑼𝑺𝑺! one of my favourite cat games of the year. The artistic level design and the attempt to not lose temper pulled me right in from the beginning!

Choose a pixel cat to wander through narrow alleys, but avoid ending up in the void!
With only a certain number of lives the right timing and having a steady hand become vital to maneuver through these vivid levels full of fast paced hazards and traps.
After several stages you'll have a creative and fun but hella difficult boss fight! Bullet-Hell action for days!
I managed to defeat the first boss after several attempts, but many more challenging worlds full of eye-strain-inducing chaos await and I won't give up until I finish this psychedelic trip!

This is the last "Cat Game of the Month" post of 2024. More will follow in 2025!
It was difficult to keep up posting as well as streaming the Cat Games from the middle of the year (damn you summer!) but it was such a fun project and I'll obviously continue the Cat gaming ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
Though not on a monthly basis any more 💃🏻✨

Whoa, this game is something else! A glitchy and weird maze/ bullethell game with cats and a trippy vaporwave soundtrack from @teamcoil. A difficult game that has imagery that may be offensive to really religious people and vegans. Definitely something to check out (as long as you don't have visually induced epileptic seizures.)
