Since 2009, I’ve run an annual free showcase for unsigned high school seniors in Chicago. Every year, we pack 150-300 of the best unsigned seniors into a south side Chicago gym. These kids are from the city, the suburbs, downstate, even out of state. They play in front of hundreds of college coaches with available scholarships to offer at Jucos, D2s, D3s and NAIAs.

In 16 Undiscovered Showcases, we’ve hosted more than 3,000 players and helped more than 700 of them land college scholarship offers. No strings attached — it’s completely free to participate, and includes on-site career workshops and academic resources.

In our modern era of NIL, the transfer portal and extra years of college eligibility, one group of players gets left out in the cold more than ever — high school seniors.

All across the country, players who would’ve had 20 D1 offers a few years ago are now unsigned, hoping for a D2 or Juco coach to give them a shot.

Some participants have gone on to finish Juco and play D1. Many graduated with a degree and came back to serve their communities as teachers, coaches and leaders. This event is not about identifying future pro basketball players — it’s about helping kids who deserve a shot get that shot they need. And now, it’s needed more than ever.

Other basketball camps and recruiting services are pay-to-play. Not ours. It relies on donations from people who care and see the vision. It’s an incredible ROI — a few thousand bucks turns into millions of tuition dollars. Please consider donating at the link below to sponsor a player, or buy Undiscovered Showcase merch to support the cause in style. You can also get a 30-minute Zoom to ask me anything, for those who want to learn about the sports agency business (or anything else). Or you can buy a session with NBA skills trainer and good friend Tim Brennan. 100% of the proceeds support the showcase.

Signups and applications are LIVE for boys and girls. Send to ANYONE who doesn’t have offers and deserves a chance to be seen!

College coaches! You’re all invited.

See you on April 26th at Mt Carmel.
