Longish post!!!
Where do I begin? The first picture is me with my best friend and husband. He loves me soooo much! He’s obsessed. Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you. 🤗 I decided to take 40 days of quiet and stillness away from social media. I kicked it off with a few days in D.C. Blessed is an understatement to be able to spend 3 days with @shandha where she created a sanctuary filled with love, worship and rest. To be able to have a former Sunday school student pour back into you is beyond rewarding and heartfelt. I had time to actually read, meditate on his word, brainstorm a bathroom remodel (lol. My husband was not quite aware of that) and just be with my thoughts, think about my life and the next course. Chapter 46 really is a new chapter. I was able to take my youngest son Joshua to Maine with me. We spent 4 days together/ just the two of us. Joshua had his first lobster roll at Luke’s and we rented bikes. He was not impressed with my navigation as I led us down a cobble stone street. That was not fun at all! We talked all the way there..2 hours of solid conversation and reminiscing about his childhood and favorite memories. It was healing for me. I miss my mom and being a better mom is the best way I know how to honor her. Attended the nuptials of two beautiful people- @she_slays_giants_ and @raine_well_dubz Absolutely beautiful! Today’s my 46th birthday and I love how I am loved. I thank God for those who consider me and are mindful of me. I am grateful for every prayer, message and warm emoji. I must give my birthday look shout out to my sister @teamgerri for the blazer dress. She shopped for me like my mom would back in June and made sure I tried everything on like my mom would. That was so touching. I almost cried. Shout out to my sister @thetamekashellaine for coming through with the make up, vision for every photo and making me comfortable because I can be awkward 😬 and then there’s my BF and workout buddy who is also my hair mommy! Sis @tlcstylist came through for me with my first install. I was nervous ya’ll! Lastly to @built_by_45s who has been working with me for almost one year (8/28) to help me get to where I am today ! 20 down

It’s not enough to write it or even post it! You have to declare it! Believe it!!! And watch God work!! Doors are opening, walls are coming down, relationships are being restored. The balm in Gilead is healing!!! Promotion is on its way! There’s a blessing with my name on it!!! Do you believe it?
