🙌 This year marks an incredible milestone for TX 3rd Coast MMA—15 years of training, growth, and friendship! 🥋❤️

To celebrate, we’re hosting a Week of Appreciation to give back to the students and community who have made this journey possible.

Throughout the week, we’ll be highlighting the amazing local businesses sponsoring our prizes.

Today, we’re incredibly grateful to recognize Alex Valencia Photography! Many of you know Alex as a familiar face training with us each week, but he’s also a talented professional photographer. He’s a black belt behind the camera. 📸🥋
Alex has captured some of life’s most meaningful moments for members of our community, and we’re honored to have him as both a sponsor and an artist/BJJ practitioner in the TX 3rd Coast MMA family.
Please show him some love and check out his work! Thank you, Alex, for your continued support and for being such an important part of our community. 💪❤️🤼

MAN, WHAT A DAY! 🔥

Today we took 7 students to MDL 2 returning competitors and 5 first-time competitors. And I couldn’t be more proud of this team.

I had the opportunity to build a game plan for every single athlete not just to keep them disciplined and composed during battle, but to give us the ability to make adjustments as the rounds unfolded.

Some matches were tough. Some went a little smoother. But every single one of them stepped on that mat, trusted the work, trusted the game plan, and most importantly, trusted themselves.

That’s what makes me the proudest.

They believed in Us the coaches… and today, I watched them learn to believe in themselves. That means more to me than any medal ever could.

I love this team. ❤️‍🔥

We couldn’t do this without EVERY SINGLE PERSON who makes Team Osiris what it is the students who compete, the students who train, the teammates who push each other, and everyone who shows up and puts in the work.

And today was another reminder that at Team Osiris, we don’t just do Jiu-Jitsu.

We build fighters.
We build athletes.
We build confidence.
We build people.

Proud to be your coach. 🦅

What a blessing. It is to be exhausted from a week of making other people feel seen. What a blessing. It is to be exhausted from a week in others become their best self. #coach

THAT’S A WRAP. 🥊🔥

6 weeks of hard work. 6 weeks of showing up, getting uncomfortable, getting tired, and pushing through the days when it would’ve been easier to quit.

I’m especially excited to bring some of our first ever homegrown students into competition, along with a few who already have some experience under their belt.

A lot of these students had to dig deep during this camp not just physically, but mentally. They had to find out who they really are when things get hard.

And just like I told them last night:

YOU GUYS ARE ALREADY WINNERS.

It takes courage to walk through those doors for the first time.

It takes even more courage to step onto the mats, commit to a preparation camp, put yourself through the grind, and ultimately put yourself out there for everyone to see.

Win or lose, you’ve already done something most people will never have the courage to do.

I’m proud of every single one of you. The work has been done. The preparation is over.

Now it’s time to go out there, trust your training, represent yourselves, represent the team, and display your art.

First MDL. Let’s go to work. 🥊🔥

5 years ago our whole world changed. We moved into our first school. We opened doors to a dream, a huge task and one that would completely change the trajectory of our lives and so many more.

We knew what we were getting into. We knew it would be long days, long nights, no vacations and everyone was along for the ride.

5 years have flown by. If you ever stepped foot on our mats please drop your favorite memory below ⬇️

Happy 5 year Team Osiris! Here is to the next 5!#bjjschool #jiujitsuparatodos
