Greatful to be clocking hours in the stand. The hunt for big boi continues. Until that moment, I’m happy to be taking in the views of the family farm

A follow-up shot can happen fast, and you don’t want the first time you practice it to be when an animal is moving away from you.
Speed loading is about building the ability to range, set your sight, grab another arrow, reload, draw, anchor, and acquire the next target as quickly as possible. The key is that the speed stops once your thumb gets to the trigger. From there, slow back down and go through your normal shot process.
Practice it close, far, and at unknown distances. The more you build these movements into your routine, the more systematic they become when you actually need them in the field.
