What a Career for #10

In 8th grade walking off the field for the last time to end the season, Nick asked Coach Mario what he could do to get on the field as an undersized player. Coach Mario replied “I need you to learn how to face off, as our starter is graduating”.

The rest is History

Nick holds the School record for ground balls, face off wins, face offs taken, face off percentage, and face off win rate

71 Career Goals
49 Career Assists
848 Career Ground Balls

Other Notable Stats
Highest Face Off Win Rate in a Game –

2023 – #3 Nationally, #1 Florida Record Holder – 35 wins, 9 losses vs Belen – 79.55%
2024 - #22 Nationally, #1 Florida Record Holder – 25 wins, 1 loss vs South Plantation – 96.15%
2025 - #5 Nationally, was #1 in Florida for a brief period finished #2 – 27 wins, 1 loss vs St Brendan – 96.43%
All Time - #12 Nationally, # 2 Florida – 30 wins, 5 losses vs Belen – 85.71%

Highest Face Off Win Rate in a Season –

2023 - #16 Nationally, #3 Florida - 306 wins, 120 losses
2024 - #59 Nationally, #7 Florida – 232 wins, 35 losses
2025 – not available yet
All Time - #66 Nationally, #4 Florida – 311 wins, 49 losses

Highest Face Off Win Rate in a Career – This is all time and includes names like TD Irelan and Gavin Tygh.

#17 Nationally, #4 Florida – 1003 wins, 288 losses – 78% Career Average with only 63 games played

To put that into perspective – the new state record holder has 1041 wins in 73 games and the all time #1 has 1477 in 80 games. That is 14.26 and 18.46 per game. Nick’s average was 15.9 per game for 63 games. If that stat were kept, he would be #3 or #4 nationally and #1 in Florida. **Covid cancelled an entire season for University School

Nick had the highest per game average in Florida for a career but that stat isn’t kept.

2023 - #3 Nationally; #1 Florida - 252
2024 - #3 Nationally, #1 Florida – 277
