Don’t just talk about it—be about it!❤️‍🔥
That’s my #baddie mantra. I don’t always post, because real impact happens offline first.

In July 2007, God used me as a vessel at @amdiabetesassn—just 7 years old.

Fast forward:
June 2024 – attended with my research team @kaiserpermanente @emoryuniversity.

Nov 2024 – funded two Diabaddies to join me at @t1dexchange ADEPT and met so many cool peeps whose work I love!

June 2025 – came back with a full delegation + Diabaddie members recruited into Emerging Leaders. ✨

I also supported the #T1DES research poster—built through years of toolkit work and recruitment with my co-advisor and my mentor, Dr. Teaniese Davis, who reminds me you can be a baddie and lead in public health. 🏥

I can't end this without giving love to Terri Wiggins @amdiabetesassn for making space for leaders like me—and future healthcare pros and ADA babies like I once was.

You might not see it all, but I try to do it all—for the kids, the future pros, and always for the #Diabaddies.💋💉

We had the incredible honor of attending the American Diabetes Association Conference in partnership with Kaiser Permanente to support Dr. T and her presentation for the T1DES study! This fantastic project in Atlanta, Georgia, is helping underserved communities living with T1D. Dr. T’s presentation was nothing short of amazing! 🤩

We’re grateful to sit amongst other advisory board members and witness our work’s current impact, and it’s continuance over the next few years in the Atlanta community! 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿🍑

Our organization has been involved in referring and recruiting for about two years now, and is so excited to keep going with this project. Every person we’ve spoken to about this study has been enthusiastic, and we can’t wait to share how you can get involved in the future! 📝🫂

Dr. Tina slayed her presentation! It was a pleasure to sit front row and witness the significant impact our work over the past few years has had on our community here in Atlanta. Serving as an advisory board member alongside other brilliant individuals with T1D, I’ve helped shape this intervention and offered valuable input as part of the target audience. Thank you to the entire Type 1 Diabetes Education and Support (T1DES) Study for having me.💙✨

Got invited to a @tandemdiabetes x @dexcom event and it was super cool! The network was networking lol. Had the chance to meet Super Bowl champ and fellow T1D @noahgray87 .

Ate some amazing food at @tutu.tangocafe for the @gothrivable event. Met some more of my fellow T1Ds there as well.

Finally had the chance to meet my guy @robhowe21 in person!! I believe his podcast was one of the first ones I had the chance to be a special guest on. So proud of his organization and all the work they have been doing. Looking forward to working with @diabeticsdoingthings again💙✨.
