Today, I got baptized. 🥹🤍 My public declaration of what God has been doing in my heart for a long time now.

I’ve walked through dark seasons that I never imagined I’d make it through, but through it all, God has never stopped loving me, covering me, and reminding me that I am still the light that he’s called me to be.

And today, I can proudly say that I’ve found a level of peace and joy that I once didn’t know was possible. Not because life is perfect or because I have everything figured out, but because I’m learning to surrender it all to Him. I’m learning to let go of the things I cannot control, to extend myself grace, to choose gratitude, and to trust that His plans for my life are greater than anything I could imagine.

Today was about thanking God for all He’s done (and continues to do) in my life. To allow His love and light to shine through me, to walk in the woman He’s called me to be, and to be an example of faith for my children (and godchildren). To continue breaking generational cycles and create a legacy rooted in His love.

Here’s to a lifetime of growing in faith, choosing peace, and becoming more like Him.

My prayer is that through my testimony, someone else might come to know the same love, grace, and peace I’ve found in Him 🫶🏽

I genuinely want to thank everyone that has helped me along the way with my film masters. The classmates that I now call my friends are some of the best people that I have met. From late nights working on each other’s films to early morning lectures, I enjoyed it all. Can’t wait to see what the coming years have in store to fore us!

Today has definitely been a day full of emotions, and I feel so grateful to be part of this moment in my life. I’ve had the chance to meet these four incredible people, who joined me on the journey to earn our Master’s in Film at @fullsail each with their own unique talent. Sharing sets with them, exchanging skills, and working together rather than against each other has been an unforgettable experience.

Today, we also received news of awards for our short films, director course awards from our professors and not just one of us, but all of us are being recognized for the hard work we poured into our projects. We truly gave it our all. ✨

I don’t know what the future holds, but I’m thrilled to know that when I look to my side and hear, “Would you make a movie with me?” I’ll know exactly who to call.

Our short film Breaking Patterns has reached a new milestone! 🏆 Thanks to the incredible performance of Laila Perez @lailaperez092 , we are honored to have received our first film festival award: Best Supporting Actress.

That’s not all… we are also celebrating 4 Official Selections and Finalist for Best Women’s Film 🎬💫

We couldn’t be more proud of this journey and grateful for the support along the way.
