For her first show since winning the
@LVMH Prize, @JulieKegels drew inspiration from Isaac Newton’s theory of gravity. The result was low-crotch nylon tights and denim pants, a bouncy runway as well as dresses weighed down at the hem by tablecloth weights. We spoke to Julie backstage to get a closer look at the vision and inspiration behind some of her favourite looks. #CRFashionBook

Drawing together the mythology of Salomé’s Seven Veils and the Maltese għonnella, AZZOPARDI establishes an unexpected dialogue between two distinct cultural narratives, examining how dress mediates identity, ritual, and female representation across geographies.
