I’m super happy to welcome Casey & her husband Jonathon to my Vintage & Art Market this Friday 🐦‍⬛ @jujusupply
•
I spent the last 30 years living in Brooklyn, cultivating a love of design, craftsmanship, and objects with a story. In 2015, I founded JuJu Supply Co., a jewelry collection centered on symbolic charms. You choose a chain and add your own charms, creating a personal collection of symbols that carry an intention, honor a connection, or remind you of your own strength.

I’ve been collecting art, jewelry, textiles, and unexpected treasures from around the world my whole life. I have deep roots in Santa Fe and have been coming here for as long as I can remember. Now calling it home, I bring together my Brooklyn sensibility, my connection to the Southwest, and a belief that the things we surround ourselves with should hold meaning.

I’m thrilled to introduce you to David of @barrfrancesvintage 🐦‍⬛ He will be joining our Vintage & Art Market this Friday 🌻
It was a great day earlier in the summer when he came upon & shopped our Vintage Market & collected a jacket by my husband
@richardkurtzofficial & me. We are so pleased that he will be selling with us.
Here is his story.
•
My name is David Tutt, and I am a 33 year old male from Alabama! I started my vintage shop three years ago in June 2023. I just moved to Santa Fe earlier this summer from Colorado where I lived for 10 years. I’ve always been drawn to the southwest, coming to Santa Fe to source for my shop for many years. My inspiration for the name BarrFrances vintage came from my grandparents. Growing up, I would often go antique shopping with my grandmother, Frances. She inspired me to have a passion for vintage/antiques through storytelling and treasure hunting. I have really enjoyed the journey and the incredible people I’ve met along the way!

Come say “Hey” & shop with David & our other awesome Vintage Dealers this Friday.

Studio Visit with artists Billy Bilbro @billybilbro22 & Lori Swartz @lorimetals Madrid, New Mexico Spring 2026
•
Each of these women have rich, successful individual art practices. They are life partners & Art Partners working together as @mudmittens •
•
Richard & I were very moved by Lori & Billy’s show “The Earth Will Eat Us All” last November at Station 5 Micro - Gallery run by artist Elisa Keir @elisa_station5
•
From Elisa’s website ~
MUDMITTENS
The Earth Will Eat Us All
Mudmittens is a collision and collaboration of two minds in pursuit of objects, ideas, and the expansion of time. Lori Swartz and Billy Bilbro are exploring new and old mediums through questions of identity, time, death, presence, and connection. Their collaboration is also the perfect excuse to dress weird and do bizarre things. Their most recent work, “The Earth Will Eat Us All,” is a collection of raw video, projection, and images focusing on the finite (or is it infinite?) nature of time and place. Through chunky hand-drawn animation, spontaneous interactive performances with nature, and found object installations, Lori and Billy aim to highlight the continued need for raw, analog, unpolished expression as we move into the digital unknown.

All I could say when I saw this show is
“This needs to be shown at @sitesantafe “
•
It took me until spring to drive out to Madrid to do this Studio Visit & until today to post it here. I wish I had more pull in the art world but this is what I can do for now just listen, witness, document & hope that something more happens for the artists.
•
I would love to see “The Earth Will Eat Us All” installed in a large art space where more people could experience this amazing collaboration. These women are 2 dynamic artists.
