Took a road trip to Kingston, NY, and along the way, we made a stop at the Natural Bridge in VA (see the last pic). Our first night was spent at the charming Manor on Front, a lovely B&B in Harrisburg, PA, with a picturesque view of the Susquehanna River ( @the_manor_on_front ). The yellow building you see in the pictures is situated on the Hudson River in Kingston, NY.
The table from @teasdaledesignstudio features a unique blend of concrete and rich wood furniture, simple yet stylish bar stools with noticeable cross bars between the legs courtesy of @fuugswoodworking and custom furniture, including a beautifully painted table base with a fabric-wrapped tabletop by @dunesandduchess . You can explore these and many more delightful finds at @fieldandsupply , located at the Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY. We also had the pleasure of experiencing downtown Winchester, VA, on a rainy morning and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at Bonnie Blue - a highly recommended spot!

Did someone say attention to detail? Love the way this custom concrete and black ash @teasdaledesignstudio console wraps around the curve of our @verellenateliernyc sofa in our Jackson Hole Great Room installation!

It’s amazing to see how much you learn and grow over the years. The value of exposure and expanding your circle is critical in any industry. I’m so glad my mentor and friend, Jillian introduced me to the world of high-end design. When I first starting designing in Atlanta circa 2006, a $2,500 budget was all I had to work with for my first bedroom project( painter included-aka: me). Let’s just say my bedroom designs have definitely changed a bit. When you know better, you do better.

In honor of throwback Thursday (also me not wanting to get out of the bed this morning), here’s a before and after pic of one my favorite projects. Hopefully if I stare at the pic long enough, I can “manifest” another two hours of sleep.
