Just me? Anyone else?
It's about that time 😅😅😅 Winter Is Coming!
Don't let this happen to you and join us this season 😎

This is a 360-degree corner known as a kriesel. I didn't listen to my coach @teatraythomas and I kept my sled at max weight of 38kg even though he told me to take weight out of my sled and this is what happened. Listen to your coach!!

Didn’t matter if it was a friend’s dad moving a couch, loading a truck, or tearing something down — if it required strength, my name came up.

I didn’t think much of it then. Looking back, that’s not a compliment about muscle. That’s what it looks like when your body is ready to serve. Strength was never about mirrors. It was about being useful when it mattered.

Ask yourself: if someone needed help right now — physically, moving something, carrying something, showing up — could your body answer the call? That’s the real test of strength. Not how you look. Whether you’re ready.

📍 This Friday, 1:00-2:00 PM (Zoom) — we’re breaking down how to train for that kind of readiness: strength as legacy, not vanity.

Comment “READY” or DM me and I’ll send you the link. Let’s freaking go. 🦁

Different sled. Same ridiculous ambition. 😤

Today I got my first real taste of skeleton. Apparently you’re supposed to learn to walk before you run… I’ve never been very good at that. 😏

Back at Bath University 🇬🇧 - home of the Great Britain Bobsleigh & Skeleton push-start training facility.

I’ve pushed a bobsleigh down this track before, but today we switched sleds… and as far as first days go, it was a good one.

I might not look the prettiest yet. A little raw, definitely rough around the edges… but I’m FAST. 💨

So we’ve got plenty to work with. 😏

Now it’s about learning the craft, putting in the reps, turning raw speed and power into something dangerous and getting on some ICE!

New discipline. Same destination.

The road to becoming St Vincent & the Grenadines’ first ever Winter Olympian. 🇻🇨

Big thank you to my coach @teatraythomas and @britishbobsleighandskeleton for day one. 🤝🏾

Returning to running after *FOUR* years away! It's never too late to begin again. How? Start with the basics.

P.S. My hip flexors are sore

I was the oldest guy at that tryout.
Didn’t matter.

Years removed from college ball, I saw a tryout for a new pro team and thought — why not, one more shot. Made the team. The league folded before we ever played a game.

For a long time I thought that story was about football.
It wasn’t.

It was about a chip on my shoulder I’d carried since college — the belief that my whole worth was wrapped up in being an athlete.

If your identity’s still living in a jersey you haven’t worn in years:

🎯 Name one thing you’re building that has nothing to do with your stat sheet

🤝 Find your new huddle

📝 Write down what you’re worth, separate from what you accomplished

You don’t have to let go of the competitor in you.
You just have to stop asking it to prove your worth.

Finding the shortcuts by not taking any ⏰

One of my first track walks with @teatraythomas and the first time ever doing one on my back. Seeing the track like I actually will on the sled, and not from standing height as is the traditional way.

Turns out, before you walk, you have to crawl!
