Laptops shouldn’t be categorised as just for work, gaming, or any other specific purpose. I don’t like limitations like that, and this is exactly where Microsoft @surface with NVIDIA RTX technology fits my needs.

And Microsoft presented it in an epic way! I was invited to an exclusive event in Sydney to experience it firsthand.

Imagine having a personal device that can do everything without compromising on performance, software, or quality. And it goes even further with local AI models running directly on your device.

That means you don’t even need an internet connection to use AI, and you can run supported models practically for free!

And it takes things to another level with an AI-powered search bar, where instead of just searching, you can give commands and let AI perform actions for you rather than doing everything manually.

What made this event even more special was meeting engineers from Microsoft’s and NVIDIA’s US teams. I had the opportunity to speak with them directly, share my feedback, and hear their insights.

And what impressed me most was how humble they were and how genuinely interested they were in listening to my feedback!

Thanks @microsoftanz for having me!

Invited to Cargo Hall for the Sydney launch of the new Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, built with NVIDIA!

It was great to hear from Microsoft’s Nancie Gaskill and NVIDIA’s Jeff Yen about how the two teams came together on this, then get hands-on with the demos.

The big takeaway for me was how much AI can now run locally on a laptop.

It was amazing to see all the demos from the teams behind the product and to connect with so many creators in the room.

Thanks @microsoftanz and @surface for having me!
