riverside recap 🖤

a year and a half ago, i started raving alone.

i had no idea where it would take me.

somehow, it took me here — surrounded by people i love, part of a community that has changed my life, and this year, helping build that community from the other side by leading the Riverside ambassador team.

it’s kind of crazy to think about how much can change when you give yourself permission to go somewhere alone.

i came for the music.
i stayed for the people. 🖤

thank you Riverside for the lights, the energy, the memories + one of the most special weekends of my summer. 💜

riverside this year was such a different experience for me. 💜

i had the opportunity to lead the ambassador team for the festival, and honestly, it was such an amazing experience. getting to build the team, work with everyone throughout the summer and watch it all come together was something i’m really grateful for. i had such an amazing group of people around me, and i couldn’t have asked for a better team. 🫶🏻

i also got to see a whole different side of what goes on behind the scenes and learned so much about what it takes to put a festival like this together.

and as much as i loved the artists and everything that came with the weekend, what really stayed with me was the people, the community and the music. meeting new people, seeing new faces, reconnecting with friends and getting to rave with my people made the weekend that much more special. 🖤

being able to experience all of that while watching my boyfriend John play on the Riverside stage was honestly surreal. 🥹 it was such a special moment for me to be part of the festival and then see him up there too.

i’m genuinely so sad it’s over already. 😭

thank you, Riverside, for such a special weekend. until next time. 💜

haven’t been to a hard techno event in way too long 🖤 felt so good to be back in my element. & my two personalities summed up in one weekend 🫠

mystical open-air was pure magic, and this whole weekend honestly felt like a reunion. everywhere I went, I ran into my people. my music, my friends, my little rave family 🫶🏻
