This video was emotional for me to make. I wasn’t there in person, but my heart was with our team every step of the way. The Birdies Nest Foundation visited Mandeville, then traveled through Crawford District, Burnt Ground, Middle Quarters, and Galleon Beach in St. Elizabeth to reach those most affected by Hurricane Melissa. We made sure to visit the elderly in areas where aid was limited, and also went to shelters with young ladies who shared that they had no water to bathe or meet basic needs. Many were asking for solar lights and clean water, and we were able to bring flashlights and other essentials to offer comfort and hope. Out of respect for everyone’s privacy, we covered faces in some photos ,but the love and gratitude still shine through. Seeing our people stay strong, thankful, and resilient through it all was truly moving. To all our donors — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity made this mission possible. I want to shout out my amazing family and team for going the extra mile — staying up late, packing, organizing, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Your dedication is what makes this work possible. We want to go back out soon to continue helping the community, and we’re still accepting donations to reach more families in need. Every bit counts. As my grandma used to say, “One one coco full basket.” Little by little, we can fill it together. 🇯🇲💚 💵 Cash App: $MakeupMiCrazy More pictures and videos are coming soon.
