Ara ja sabem exactament què i quan plantar!

🌻 Watch our rooftop greenhouses bloom! For the first time in 12 years, our three integrated rooftop greenhouses are running at full capacity and with new crops! 🥒 Remember our all-time favourite tomatoes? This season we have cultivated eggplant, zucchini and cucumber for the first time! 🔎 This year's experiments are part of a collaboration with @tectum_garden in the context of the #BIOBOOSTMED project. #BIOBOOSTMED has been funded through the Cascade Funding Programme of the Horizon Europe I3-4-BIOFERTILIZERS initiative and aims to validate the effectiveness of plant-based biostimulants in enhancing the resilience of Mediterranean crops to climate-related stresses, particularly drought and salinity. 🌱 The experimental activities of #BIOBOOSTMED are conducted at the @icta.stories greenhouses managed by @sostenipra. More info coming soon!

It has been a pleasure to co-host the first event of the Australia-Spain Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (AuSpire) alongside the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. This week's gathering provided ample opportunities for our nine onboarded AuSpire postdoctoral fellows to get to know each other, take part in training sessions and site visits, and understand how to align the program's underlying concept of Planetary Wellbeing to their research projects. AuSpire's third recruitment call will open in the coming months for positions related to bioinformatics, biology, metabolic diseases, underwater laser communications, engineering, water quality and genomics. We look forward to seeing the full cohort of 28 postdoctoral fellows at next year's event. For updates, follow @auspire.eu on Instagram. AuSpire is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions project, co‑funded by the European Union and coordinated by RMIT Europe. #AuSpire @eu_science
