ATTENTIVENESS is a key detail in every production Your ability to be attentive to the needs of every key department on every production team can make all the difference The gaffer has a need The camera operators need your creative vision and leadership The set team need all things to be in place for a great production design Your job is to be attentive to these different needs and delegate teams to each of these needs But the creative vison starts with… YOU #filmmaking #behindthescenes

5 things I’ll tell a first time film director 1. Start with the emotion Before choosing location and camera and other prodcution essentials, establish what the audience should feel. I like to envisage what the audience should feel after each shot, scene or sequence 2.The video is about the talent not YOU The goal of the video is to create more brand trust for the talent it’s not time to show off your best camera movements 3-Take your master shots first Time runs out fast on a film set so it’s important to capture the important shots first 4-You need a viewfinder/Monitor This helps you to see if your compostions are blurry or in focus and helps you direct your shots properly 5-Self belief Believe in the vison of your project and trust yourself to handle every outcome #filmmaking #film #behindthescenes
