So many memories in one place: Carolina 🩵

First year is complete and it really flew by. From hard academics to all the fun experiences on campus, I made sure to take every opportunity that came my way.

Thanks Carolina for an amazing first year-many more adventures ahead!

Conducted an assisted sprint training session with the Sprint 1080 for two of our sprinters this morning. While there are lots of studies to provide guidance on resisted sprint training prescriptions, there is a very limited number of studies on assisted sprint training. And none of them used the Sprint 1080. Hence, I was very conservative with the assistance loading (5% bodyweight) so as to minimise the altering of sprint mechanics and injury risk. Had to keep the volume low too, as this form of training is taxing to both the nervous and musculotendinous system.

What a rare opportunity to watch an internal competition in Singapore!

The U15, U18, and Open competitions were organized in a very simple , without requiring a large number of officials.

One of the volunteers was even a parent of the athletes. Everything was done simply.

And what’s more, the data was directly sent to Singapore Athletics and would be immediately updated on their website.

Thanks to Team @teamcicadasg , Coach @zeymarjanuzaj , @teddtoh and @akaz10101 for an amazing Race today. Good Job! I hope we can meet again soon. And @_kiarawrr__ , we haven’t had a chance to catch up yet, but hopefully soon.

Let’s hope that soon Indonesia can have simple U15-U18 championships in each region, providing opportunities for young athletes to gain valuable experience and exposure.

Thank you @vivamd and @rodextravel
