Life can be unpredictable. A year ago, I could not have possibly guessed how my professional life was about to unfold.

There have been times when I’ve been frustrated that things weren’t going “according to plan”…. But ultimately, those twists and turns provided me with clarity and a stronger sense of self, which opened up the door for opportunities I never would have considered otherwise.

So, here’s where things are at lately:

I am ramping up for my new role as naturalist for @clipperwhalewatching - a position that will bring together my love of whales, public speaking, and photography. 🫍

I have been shooting true crime documentaries - seeking justice, and helping to give a voice to victims who have been silenced. 🎥

And this month marks 4 years since I started performing stand up - there have been ups and downs, but I continue to have a deep love of comedy, and do my best to share laughter with people, and find my own voice along the way. 🎤

Most importantly, I’ve been spending precious time with the people I love: my friends, family, wife, and dog. Those who have been a part of this past year especially - it’s meant the world. 🫶

Today marks 33 times that I’ve been around the sun! ☀️

Tomorrow I am heading back to Seattle, after spending a beautiful summer in Ketchikan, Alaska. 🐋

And in 10 days I’ll be getting married to my love, the amazing @peyton_anstine. ❤️

At this moment I’m feeling overwhelmed with gratitude, and energized about what the future holds. 🙌

After the wedding, I’ll be returning to Alaska for an additional month to finish out the season. After that, I’m not entirely sure what my next chapter will entail - but I know I’ll be facing that mystery with my best friend by my side, and I trust that the universe will provide. 🌌

Lots of love to everybody who’s been a part of the past 33 years! Looking forward to seeing many of you at the wedding - and beyond. 🥳
