AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE — The Feeding (2005)♥️🤍🖤💙
After the chaos of The War of Art, American Head Charge returned in 2005 with a tighter, darker and more mechanical record.
Produced by Greg Fidelman, The Feeding keeps the band’s industrial DNA intact while pushing heavier grooves, keyboards and the constant contrast between melody and violence.
From the opening punch of “Loyalty,” the album feels tense and aggressive. “Pledge Allegiance,” “Dirty,” “Ridicule” and “Cowards” deliver crushing riffs and industrial weight, while “Fiend” and “To Be Me” explore a slower, more disturbing side of the band.
The album also holds a tragic place in the band’s history: it remains the only American Head Charge studio album featuring guitarist Bryan Ottoson, who died only a few months after its release.
Industrial. Groovy. Dark. Unstable.
A distinctly early-2000s record, but with the twisted atmosphere that always made American Head Charge feel darker than most of their nu-metal contemporaries.

Thank you @holidaykirk and @tedhallows for the update on Cam! He’s been on my mind so much lately and I’ve been very worried for years as we all have especially after the troubles and him going missing. He’s been found and getting the help he’s needed. I hope he keeps fighting on the road to recovery. I just want him to be happy and healthy and to know how loved he is. Second photo is from on the road somewhere at some time ago during an AHC tour. If anyone would like updates and how to help here is the website: https://www.somethingbeautifulproject.com #CameronHeacock #AmericanHeadCharge #ahc #headcharge

@psycholasvegas was a chaotic blur of metal, friends, and beers. It was my first time working with road family - some beloved and some new to me - since 2019, and what a way to dust off the cobwebs! I need to sleep about 20 hrs, but it was a small sacrifice for getting to hang with a ton of my peeps and making a bunch of rad new friends 🖤 Thanks to @limsangphotography for shooting some snaps since I never do!
