It’s not just a game, It’s about life and the commitment to becoming better people, better teammates, better leaders and better ambassadors of the sport. Every time we step onto the field..we represent something bigger than ourselves.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank one of our own and his team for shooting and editing this video. Your hard work has given these players a platform to showcase who they are, what they stand for and what they represent.

Alhamdulillah.

Exactly a year ago, Syukri, Chan and I sat at a mamak shop and talked about what we wanted to do and achieve in 2025. We realised that in 2024, we didn’t do much creatively. So then we made a pledge to support each other to make festive microshorts for the entire 2025, with a don’t-think-just-do mentality.

With the help of so many of our passionate and talented filmmaker friends, we managed to produce five microshorts this year! We will be forever grateful for their contributions and they made this whole experience so fun and beautiful. Seriously guys, thank you all. Also, thankfully, they share the same don’t-think-just-do mentality!

To more creative ventures in 2026! Happy New Year!

A while back, a group of us decided that we needed to film something to reinvigorate our passion for filmmaking.

But that's just it, sometimes all it takes is one shoot with friends to remind you why you fell in love with filmmaking in the first place. This was definitely a fun one!

I’m so grateful to my @2117_rentals fam for their incredible support, which was key to the success of our Sony Cinema Line event. We had a few goals in mind: for filmmakers to experience our gear, share their knowledge, and network with each other. This was only possible thanks to amazing partners like @alphauniversemy and @aputuremalaysia , who teamed up with us to make it happen.

Special thanks to @sjm.studios @ghazabybakar who graciously supported our roundtable session & @_zycheng who did an impeccable job hosting this event.

2117 is now 5 years strong and we’re only just getting started.
