我有個善於改變的性格。
不管擔任什麼職位我都沒有想過那個「職位」會是永久不變的。隨著世界的變化不可控的事情很多，我只能做到認真的面對眼前的每件事情走一步算一步。我熱愛生活喜歡探索學習，在不同的領域會有不同的挑戰跟樂趣。無論是當建築師，運動員，贊助選手，教练，產品設計師，品牌創始人，我覺得每個經驗都是一個學習的機會。任何抬頭都不是終點也並不是我對成功的定義。

昨天有個學生在跟我討論比賽，不確定自己是否要參加初級組或者更競爭的組別。我就問他對比賽的定義是什麼呢，是為了榮耀，挑戰，獎金，還是樂在參與？每個人的選擇都有自己的立場並非對錯，但是要隨著自己的定義來做決定才會是最適合你的。對我來說比賽就是跟外界交流還有自我挑戰跟學習。讓自己進入最競爭的環境比個高下從技術的角度會是最好的學習，如果參與更低的組別為了奪取名次拿了冠軍毫無意義。但是這是我的立場，也不是絕對的立場。

我很喜歡作者 Malcolm Gladwell 的講解：一個工作的滿足感來自於「自主性、複雜性、努力跟獎勵之間的連貫性」Most important qualities to make work satisfying is a job that supplied “autonomy, complexity and a connection between effort and reward.” 我也很喜歡 “get there and get others there too.”

🐯Happy Chinese New Year everyone ! I’m so excited to finally be able to share something that I’ve worked on for months. As the world is going through a pandemic crisis, many of us have been faced with life-changing decisions; I am no exception. From an architectural designer in Paris, to having to work remotely in isolation, to changing employment as a wakesurf consultant for the largest wakeschool in Asia, I’ve moved across continents to pursue a passion of mine that I never expected to transform into a career. I decided to take the plunge because I believe that “change is the only thing that ensures growth.”
