Before the TEDx stage...

There was a woman learning how to stop shrinking.

There was a rose that bloomed from the concrete streets of West Philly.

That part of the story matters.

Because we often celebrate the stage without acknowledging the season that prepared the speaker.

My TEDx Talk is titled:
How to RESET Your Worth & Stop Shrinking.

I didn't select that topic because it sounded marketable.

I chose it because I lived it.

There were seasons when my professional accomplishments looked impressive on paper while internally I was trying to remember who I was.

Leader.

Executive.

Award recipient.

Author.

Speaker.

Friend.

Mother.

Daughter.

And still...

Human.

The greatest transformation of my career did not begin with a promotion.

It began when I stopped outsourcing the definition of my worth.

It began when I stopped ignoring how people treated me and loved myself more.

Watching my TEDx Talk reminded me:

Sometimes the message you are called to teach is the lesson you had to survive first.

I just watched my first TEDx Talk.
And I made myself cry.

Not because it was perfect.

Because I know the woman who had to become brave enough to stand on that stage.

I know what she survived.

I know how many times she questioned her worth.

I know how many rooms she walked into and quietly wondered if she should make herself smaller.

And then I watched her stand on a TEDx stage and tell the truth.

HER truth.

Whew.

I am not ready to share everything yet.

But I will say this...

The woman who once questioned whether her voice mattered just watched herself use that voice to challenge other people to RESET their worth.

Give me a minute. 🥹
This story is just getting started.

“This wasn’t just a lineup of speakers… it was a room full of purpose.”

What happens when you bring together voices from different walks of life—
but align them under one mission?

Impact.

The TEDxWilmington stage wasn’t about performance.

It was about truth.

Stories that challenge you.
Perspectives that stretch you.

Moments that stay with you long after the applause.

Every speaker brought something different—
and that’s exactly what made it powerful.

Because growth doesn’t come from one voice…
it comes from many.

If you’ve ever needed a reminder that your story matters—
this was it.

✨ Follow for more insights on leadership, voice, and showing up fully.

TAG any of the speakers and show them some love in the comments 🙌🏾🫶🏿👏🏾🎤🔥

Attended my first @tedx_official event last Saturday. And it just so happened to be the first all-Spanish-speakers Tedx event in the United States. Walked away inspired and motivated. Thank you @thepositivemom for organizing and inviting me to witness these powerful deliveries.
Important work is taking place in @tedxwilmde platforms. I encourage you all to attend or watch them on YouTube. I’ll be over here working on… you already know. 🤙🏽
