2 weeks with this perfect little angel. Not exactly the newborn bliss we were hoping for but it’s ok.
My mom went home today.
Hormones are still doing hormone things lol.
Latching her and feeling like she’s getting stronger. Still giving her a bottle after each feeding. Then pumping. Questioning my ability to keep this up.
It’s tough. This little babe has been covered in prayer since early pregnancy. It’s been a journey and I’ll probably share bits of it later.
Holding her and sniffing her perfect newborn head. I can literally feel endorphins releasing when I do that.
God knew what he was doing with that intoxicating newborn smell 😍

Happy Gotcha Day sweet Isaac!
Congratulations to Paul and Tracy! You’re having a boy!
It’s been such a blessing to witness the process they’ve gone through to welcome sweet babies into their home and hearts. This sweet baby boy though- it felt different. He’s felt part of the family since they first brought him home September of 2022. Now, it’s official. You are legally part of our family!
We love you Isaac!

I feel like this photo pretty much sums up my boy’s personalities 😂
We had such an awesome day hanging out with my parents while driving around Yuma. We found some fun photo ops but best of all was the quality time with each other. It’s so good to get away and just be with family!

Is it still ok to say, DIY if my dad is helping?!
And in all seriousness, it’s all my dad 😂
I’m telling you, he’s so smart. He can come up with plans in his head and make them come to life. He’s like an engineer/carpenter/genius all in one!
My parents have been our guests for a month or so now and of course, Mark and I have a list of home improvements/projects we want to get done.
My dad being all of the things I said and more, has helped us accomplish a ton of them.
This chicken coop is no exception. And when my dad builds things, they’re thought out and well done.
So for sure, when you come to visit we will still have this chicken coop 🙌🏼
Thanks, Dad!

My parents now live in Arizona.
I haven’t posted about it because well, to be honest, it’s been difficult for me.
If you’ve been around our family you know we are close.
February 21st (Isaiah’s 3rd birthday) marked my Dad’s retirement. It was about time! He gave 42 years to the same company😳 Now he and my momma are traveling. Although- thanks to this current chaos they had to hunker down since most campgrounds are closed.
They purchased 20 acres in Kingman several years ago and decided to park there until this situation is over.
I love my parents. My boys love their Noni and Papa. This has been difficult for us and it’s only been 6 days since we said goodbye.
I’m very happy for them! They get to travel and see places they’ve previously dreamt of!
Grateful for technology that allows us to video chat ❤️
Grateful they are able to travel and explore.
Grateful we have the ability to visit them.
But boy, do I miss them right now.

Happy Campers.
Today was an amazing day. We all spent the day visiting my parents at their campsite.
The boys played, rode their bikes, had s’mores, danced, played with flashlights, biked some more, and passed out hard on the drive home.
There is a lot happening around us right now. I’m struggling to feel grateful and I’m snapping at my kids because of it. Today was what we all needed. Sunshine and fun with family.
I encourage you to do something fun with your family. Shut the outside noise off and just be.
Watch your kids light up when they conquer a fear, use an axe for the first time(with Papa), ask for another book for Noni to read, or want a shower in the trailer.
I pray so hard these are the moments I remember when I’m old and gray. These smiles. These times when all that matters is us.
