Well, this happened! 😭✨

Looking back, it’s wild to think about the journey: from younger me getting recognised by the local paper for teaming up with Nintendo UK to give N64s to a local hospital, to being featured in the 2023 Telegraph for the collection I’ve kept and never repurchased. And now? Being featured in Costco!

If you told me back when I was sitting at home staring at my Switch during COVID lockdown that my love for Nintendo would end up here, I wouldn't have believed you.

I made my account to have fun, share my passion for Nintendo, games that shaped me and just all things nerdy to share with a like minded community.

Thank you to everyone who stops by, comments, likes and supports my lil channel! 💚

Keep an eye out for your copy next time you're browsing the aisles! Thanks again @Costco

First stop: Hyrule Castle Town Market. What are you doing first? 🗡️

Still so hyped from the Direct! Can’t wait to just roam the town square and waste all my rupees on the mini-games again.

Who else is excited for the OoT Remake? 😍😍

I'll be on holiday until the 7th, so I have to wait to play Ocarina again, or to admire the new Switch 2 edition 😭.

Check out the amazing accounts tagged 💖!

What's one game you're determined to finish before the month ends?

It's been a while since I shared my gaming round-ups and where I took a little break to focus on some personal things offline, but I’m so excited to get back into sharing what’s been on my screen lately.

I recently rolled credits on Orbitals, which was super fun to play with a friend and another game ticked off the list.

To be completely honest, my progress on single-player titles like Super Mario Sunshine has taken a hit thanks to multiplayer game nights! Jumping between Mario Kart World, Stardew Valley, Fortnite, and Pikmin 3 Bingo Battle with friends has been the ultimate (and most fun as always) distraction.

I’ve just started FNAF: Security Breach! I’m really enjoying it so far, and since it’s got those perfect eerie vibes, I’m determined to get it ticked off the list just in time for Halloween & Ocarina of Time!

Back to gaming this weekend and Sunshine and FNAF will be played. Happy Gaming Weekend everyone! 💚

For today's #boosday

Boo is enjoying a walk in the park (or floating...) during the colorful Autumn season.

Weather has been stabled and crisp, and the sunsets are gorgeous!

#boosday is hosted by the dynamic duo @victorious007_ & @disfordoom

Do you enjoy the Autumn season?

Following on from my last post regarding the original Super Mario Bros movie, I remembered I also have this Super Mario All-Stars Video. A 20 minute promo video hosted by none other than Craig Charles (Robot Wars) and was used to promote upcoming Nintendo releases, game reviews and of course a big feature on Mario All-Stars itself. It certainly was a throwback watching this bad boy. Does anyone else have this tape? 🤘😆🤘

So I popped into the @80svideoshop today to pick up some VHS tapes to go with a VHS player that I got yesterday. I've been wanting to watch some films in an older format for a while now and decided to take the plunge on a VHS player. Sadly, the player I bought doesn't work and currently has my Super Mario Bros cassette stuck inside it, BUT that hasn't stopped me from picking up a few tapes ready for when I do have a working player. Last week at the Hattie Hayridge meet and greet the store had on, I clocked a few tapes that I would have liked to pick up, so I called in there today to get them. I picked up Kevin Smith's Mallrats and John Carpenter's Christine and Big Trouble in Little China. Whilst there, they had a horror range on display as we enter spooky season, so I also picked up Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. These will be perfect for around Halloween. As usual, Rob, one of the owners was incredibly welcoming and friendly, so if you happen to be in the area, be sure to head on down and pay them a visit as it really is one of the coolest places around 🤗

Today is the initiation of #31DaysInTheCrypt hosted by the horror duo @king_lizzard & @_lachrymal where all 31 days of October that lead until Halloween, a Horror game will be shared or anything that sets into the spooky season, films, comics, novels, locations you name it

For the first day, I decided to share this Graphic Novel based game, were you make decisions and see the outcomes. At a first glance, it looks very whimsical and wholesome, however... that could only be a cover up and don't be deceived by this!!

You start off by greeting these Ukrainian refugees who have been having trouble in their home country, as this is set in the 1930s, they state that they needed a place to stay after being out in the Polish wilderness for too long, then you as the protagonist, accept them in.

There are thunderstorms and a flood happening in the next few days, and food supplies are running low, so as a chef, making certain decisions is crucial. You are also guided by these chibi-like vegetables called: Chompettes, as to how to properly prepare nourishment to last you for awhile, any mistakes could lead to some devastation.

Not only do you cook, there is also some exploration to do around the cabin as it seems like there are hidden secrets around!! Each of these characters have their own charm and personality, listen closely to each one!!

I managed to play through this a few times to acquire the Platinum! Anyway, don't want to give too much away about this game if anyone is interested in seeing some goosebumps and chills!!

Do you play games like these?

⚠️IF YOU GET EASILY DISTURBED BY GRAPHIC IMAGERY AND GRUESOME DESCRIPTION, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME⚠️

A little Minecraft related post today. I have Max tonight and after he watched the most recent Minecraft Live presentation, he really wanted to get Minecraft Dungeons 2. I told him that if he put what Pocket money he had towards it, I would pay the rest. So tonight, the plan is to chill out and play some Minecraft Dungeons 2. Neither of us played the first one, but we did play the arcade game when we went to the seaside earlier this year and we quite enjoyed it. Hopefully this will be a similar experience with the exception of putting a pound coin in every 5 minutes 🤣. Has anyone played any of the Minecraft Dungeons titles and if so, what do you think to them?? 🤗

All the shops are officially ready for the Halloween season (ever since September started actually...)
And of course, this is Boo's favorite time of the year!

While shopping around at this store, this Boo followed me to take him home and it would offered me a POW block, so why not!

#boosday was yesterday, but its never too late to represent it during this spooky season!
Held every Tuesday by the dynamic duo @victorious007_ & @disfordoom !!

Are you ready for spooky season?

Today is the final day of September and it is a Wednesday, so what better way to enter spooky season than with some top notch horror games on Nintendo Wii for a spook-tacular #WiiWednesday post!? 🤗 The Wii offered some truly amazing horror-fied experiences including the likes of Resident Evil 4, Dead Space Extraction and Silent Hill Shattered Memories, all of which made great use of the Wii Remote, though I have to say that Calling definitely takes the edge for most innovative use of the controller. I would argue that there are definitely better ways to play Dead Rising too, but it's nice that it is on the Wii in some form. Deadly Creatures is questionable as a horror game, but if you have a fear of spiders, then I guess it could be considered as one right?! As you might expect, the House of the Dead games give you that arcade like feel and is even better if you have a gun attachment (I personally recommend the official House of the Dead hand cannons). Cursed Mountain offers something a little more on the unique side in terms of story telling and Resi 1 and 0 are great ports of the Gamecube classics. This isn't even all the horror games on Wii either. There's Fatal Frame/Project Zero, Ju-On: The Grudge and the Japan only Ikenie no Yoru (Night of Sacrifice) are also just a few more horror based games you can get for Nintendo's little white box. What are some of your favourite horror based Wii games?
