I’m not that much of a talker, so this is a bit foreign to me but I just wanted to speak about my inspiration for this shoot

From summer 2022( I graduated from uni w my Chemical Eng degree) up until spring 2023, I was going through HELL but still maintaining beauty 🤪.I’m talking mentally, physically, emotionally and other things, like I was fighting serious battles & had completely lost my sense of self. I was in such a dark place and was going through what’s referred to as an ego death.

Whilst in this dark place, I had no foresight into my future, no motivation for my life & was mostly suffering in silence as I usually do.(‘mysterious girl’ almost took out your gurl😭)
I didn’t think I’d ever live to see the day I’d be doing half the things I’m doing now.

Hitting rock bottom is so humbling in the best way possible because when you’re all the way at ground zero, the only direction to follow is upwards.

Sometimes you just have to fall, fail and feel all those negative emotions, it’s highly necessary in order to experience another level of growth.

Growth is exponential in a way that when you do win, the level of gratitude you have and show for the little wins propels much bigger wins to find you.

I really just want to use this piece of art to encourage any graduate or truly anyone really that’s going through it, to keep on pushing & if you need help DO ask. You’re not going be considered annoying or a ‘pest´ to the people that genuinely care about you.

Modelling for me is my happy place & I don’t want to deal any sexual innuendos please & thanks!😙

Yeahhh… I literally had to grow the ‘Rose in the Dark’

So I hope I’ve been able to convince you & not confuse you🫶🏾
