This past weekend at our Michigan baby shower was more than we could have ever dreamed of! Our hearts are overflowing with love, joy, and gratitude. A huge shoutout to my mother and grandma for hosting and putting on such a beautiful celebration. 💕 We were surrounded by my village, and they showed up just like they always do, pouring out so much love and support. God has truly favored us tremendously! 🙌🏾🤍 In addition to my mother and grandma, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to my aunt and my mother’s friends for contributing and helping to put on the shower. Their love, effort, and generosity truly made the day extra special, and we couldn’t have done it without them. 💗🙏🏽 We are also beyond grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and supported us, whether through gifts, presence, or traveling long distances. Your love has meant everything to us! It feels so special to know how loved our baby girl already is. ✨💖 We know that with this incredible community around us, she will always be surrounded by love and care. I want to take a moment to express how incredibly special this past weekend was for me. My village had the incredible opportunity to come together and send me off into married life. These are the same individuals who played a significant role in raising me, shaping me into who I am today. It's become clear to me that my deep passion for serving women stems from being raised by some of the most remarkable women I know. In my hometown, my mom @teefreezy1 organized a beautiful bridal shower that filled my heart with warmth and love. It was a moment that will forever be etched in my memory. 💕💕💕 I am filled with immense gratitude and want to honor my mother for showering me with her unwavering love. She truly is a gift from Jesus, with a heart so selfless and a genuine desire to do everything for me. Words fail to express how thankful I am for the sacrifices she made throughout her life so that I could have a good one. This moment and the village that raised and loved me will forever hold a special place in my heart. ♥️ I am who I am today because of the women who paved the way before me – my mother, aunts, granny, grandma, godmother’s, and all the amazing friends my mother surrounds herself with. God has always been working and loving me through each one of them.
