- There are truly no words to describe the immense feeling of pride, excitement and love felt being able to walk in the inaugural @jamaicarisingdayparade! ✨ A parade strictly for us to celebrate Jamaican independence, Jamaican culture and the Jamaican-American community. 🫶🏽 Cheers to cultural preservation, national pride, education, community upliftment and economic advancement, all while strengthening connections between Jamaica and the diaspora! 🥂 Booklyn showed out in the most beautiful way🔥 Big shoutout to all the organizers that helped us paint NYC Black, Gold & Green! 🔥🇯🇲🖤💛💚🇯🇲 Big ups to 📸: @pecosphotography for capturing these moments. 🫶🏽✨

*7 7* #170 #Elevating #Expansion The #vision is to create #loving spaces for everyone, every 10 days, everywhere. When folks like the @friendsofabolitionistplace engage community building it is rooted in Truth, Liberation and Family. We’re building together and this is just the beginning! The experience was filled with this spirit and as Host for the evening Raul @rauldougou stated the vibes and love of the unique moment can only be felt when you’re in the space. It’s special! It’s Love manifesting in real life. Neighbors meeting in new spaces, Lovers bringing friends, family arranging to meet, colleagues introducing people….. The Presenters are Open, Learned, Talented, Real people making magical moments the 7th, 17th and 27th. ❤️ ‘Good Time, Good Crowd’ ❤️ You = *7 7* living dynamic consistently constantly changing. *7 7* #168 ‘Naturally Natalie’ The experience is special as each one is completely unique! It is a situation that is created by a variety of different individuals that care about other people. Natalie @nataliekspecht is the exact type of #human that *7 7* lives through! She saw something, she said something #ifyouseesomethingsaysomething Although Jean @da_b.u.g @vagabon_noir said something before, we never had an #Allqueer lineup! Well Natalie spoke on it and basically said “I’ll run it!!!” Did she ever! All *7 7*’s are special, yet this evening felt incredibly warm and loving. The more I think about it, the evenings really are driven by the audience which this night was filled with a bunch of loving people, #OG 77 @milesamungus @thperk and led by a dynamic Host that showcased the welcoming loving Community! BK/NYC A bunch of totally different people living together harmoniously, celebrating life together. We do it thrice a month at 7:00 P.M.. Someday, one day, the world may all have the love we do on the 7th, 17th & 27th! Are you ready to make it happen? ❤️ *7 7* is an intercultural, Brooklyncentric, international community of people engaged in celebrating each other, the local businesses, and organizations; focused on increasing understanding, awareness, collaboration and cooperation between individuals and groups that support the elimination of violence and hatred by highlighting similarities and advancing arts, education, dialogue and Love. ❤️ Ideas Of Focus: fightracism timeportal timeportals neighborhood scalingintimacy scalingintimately instantincubator outcomeopportunity commonexperience enjoyingmaximizingcapacity SpreadingLoveItsTheBrooklynWay ❤️

*7 7* #161 #WomensHistoryMonth ‘#Meta #Moments’ We celebrate everyone every 10 days ~ The month of March the Women of the World take center stage! This experience Hosted and largely curated by Vanessa @vanessaamalia was a festive #Highbrow evening with a lot of foundational folks, which of course puts massive amounts of love in the space, as well as new neighbors that we love meeting. Interesting things happen at *7 7*, most times they happen within the confines of the space where it’s held, this unique addition came from someone within earshot 👂🏿🤭😂🤣🫣 Like the saying about Vegas, “What happens at *7 7*, ya gotta be there to truly feel it” ❤️ Ideas Of Focus: fightracism timeportal timeportals neighborhood scalingintimacy scalingintimately instantincubator outcomeopportunity commonexperience enjoyingmaximizingcapacity SpreadingLoveItsTheBrooklynWay
