For the latest Zeeman Autumn Kids campaign, Marijke handled both direction and photography on one of the hottest days of the year. Working with kids in winter gear under those conditions is definitely a challenge! The slogan “Zeeman, it’s that simple” means the final result has to look completely effortless. What people don’t always see is the well-oiled team it takes to pull off a day like that. Only years of experience and deep insight make it look easy, creating clear, relatable images that are absolutely bursting with fun

Into the harbour’s shadows. For Veilige Haven we created a first-person film that puts you in the POV of someone under criminal pressure.

Directed by @iamdaangroot , created together with Wouter Vos and Claire Menagé, this film digs under the skin. Not just to show the danger, but to make you feel how a single choice can spill into every corner of your life.
