First... by Angad Warkad Follow for more on instagram and facebook @a_soulful_verse Creator: @forlorn_king The poem describes a difficult emotional experience that the speaker has gone through, using metaphors such as heartache and rain to convey their pain. Despite feeling helpless as his own advice to he used to give to people didn't work and receiving advice that didn't work, the speaker is determined to stand up to the challenges they face cause he's man and they cant be emotional. The poem ends with a sense of uncertainty about the future, but also with a sense of resilience and strength. The poem maintains a sense of mystery around the specific context of the speaker's experience, leaving it up to the reader to interpret the meaning and apply their own emotions to the poem.
