I wrote 𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆 back in February. The older I get, the more I realize peace is worth protecting. Sometimes the people you love keep chasing dim horizons, gambling away the good things they’ve been given, and taking those close to them along for the ride. Eventually, you learn that you can love someone, wish them well, and still know they’re not meant to have a seat at your table anymore.

I hope your road is kind to you. Mine just heads in a different direction now. 🤍

New music video for “Friends in Misery” starring my old pal Ryan Sambol @r_sambol . Shot on 16mm by Nathaniel Elder & Christian Mejia. @teknicolorgreen @christianmmejia . We shot it while I was on tour & had a day off in Austin. I had just driven 14 hours the day before and was exhausted but had so much fun. It poured rain and everyone got completely soaked (except for me cuz all my scenes were indoors 😇 ). Nathaniel and I came up with the concept thru a series of phone calls while I was driving. If only Vintage Cowboy Boots could tell a story. I sure would have lots of questions! Where did they roam, how many owners have they had, favorite journey, roughest terrain, age, the list goes on! Those questions have always been interesting to me being a collector. But maybe that’s just me! Also, wanted to thank @teknicolorgreen for capturing this completely authentic moment.
