a closet tour was requested👑👠🪩🌹 @normal.nyc My name is Anacia Sessoms, founder, fashion and jewelry designer, creative director, stylist, artist, and content creator. My fashion brand is Enchantment Of Gardens ,@enchantmentofgardens on Instagram and TikTok . My jewelry brand is @sirenjewlsbyanacia on Instagram. As an archivist and fashion designer working with vintage fabrics and vintage materials, I am upcycling these mediums into wearable art to preserve the stories of my Afro-Indigenous Heritage as well as vintage Black Glamour. Specializing in upcycling textiles and objects into wearable and functional multi-media artworks, I embrace my Afro-Indigenous Cherokee and Bajan Caribbean influences, infusing spirituality and cultural environments into every stitch. I create all of my creations through hand sewing, hand crafting, pattern making, and styling. There is minimal machine use in my creations, almost everything is hand-sewn. This is because I want to preserve the techniques of my Afro-Indigenous ancestors when it comes to garment creation and the spirituality of fashion and clothing. As a fashion designer is to showcase to the youth and sustainable and handcrafting fashion communities the beauty and diversity of within Black and Indigenous Identity, materials, and fashion. I am always showcasing my colorful, creative styling and colorful outfits, educating my audience on sustainable in textiles and fashion, environmental sustainability, and the importance of preserving hand craftsmanship. As a designer, showing that unique style is one of the most beautiful assets we all personally have. Creating fun and expressive colorful outfits for events, personal occasions, and for fun is what I bring to my audience. I am committed to sustainability and innovation in my designs through nature and florals. Prioritizing upcycling and repurposing materials to reduce textile waste in ten fashion industry, my designers blend artistry with environmental consciousness. Through using innovative techniques to create wearable art, I am all about creating one-of-a-kind, sculptural, vintage inspired pieces. As I take inspiration from my Afro-Indigenous culture, I am connecting anyone that interacts with my designs and garments with their own essence. We are living artworks, deserving to adorn ourselves in the luxury of textiles and color. I recently debuted my colorful bridal collection The Vanity Of Sessoms Bridal Collection from Enchantment Of Gardens SS26 by Anacia Sessoms during New York Fashion week this February. This collection focuses on the art and glamour of vintage weddings and the art of spiritual union through my Cherokee and Bajan perspectives and roots. From incorporating my own patterns and colorful creations, as well as spiritually hand-sewing each creation, I tell a story of a vintage wedding, a union between two cultures. I previously was an educator for Vogue College Of Fashion: Vogue Summer School for their NYC School in 2025. I have been an entrepreneur and fashion designer since 2020, 6 years. I also was President of the Fashion Club at Montclair State University, and helped build Newark Fashion Week Festival. I have been a designer with Harlem’s Fashion Row 8th Annual Designer Retreat this past May. My designs have been showcased on runways such as Newark Fashion Week Festival, Fashion Week Brooklyn, Harlem Fashion Week, Brooklyn Bound’s NYFW Show, and at Montclair State University. I am excited and grateful. A closet tour was requested. As a jewelry designer, I am sourcing seashells from Coney Island and The Jersey Shore, creating one of a kind siren themed jewelry with wire wrap, vintage beads, and sacred intention. As a content creator, I create lifestyle, art, and entrepreneurial content. My goal as a creative is to make the people I interact with feel seen and celebrated!

This week’s Gatekept syllabus includes letting your hair down with Dior, boots on the ground documentation of Charli xcx concert outfits, and Matières Fécales. Went to Charli xcx. Conducted field research in the hallways of the Capital One Arena. Drank a $30 cocktail! Jonathan Anderson’s Dior is getting comfortable. The romance is still there of course, but this particular collection gave us a woman who had plans after the garden party. My pronouns are popped/collar. Gucci Spring 27! A bird’s eye view, you ask?
