MACKINTOSH × GIORGIA PRESTI
1 PCE LASER CUT FRAME BOX TRENCH COAT

The pattern for the coats were taken directly from the flat CAD of a perfume frame box. Once laser cut, the coats were constructed by Mackintosh's artisan craftsmen in their Nelson factory from their signature double bonded cotton. The coats were sealed and lapped using a special rubber solution applied by finger, an intricate technique that is learnt and mastered over many years.

Thank you so much to Mackintosh for working with me on the double bonded cotton Frame Box Trench coats.

Thank you @teleonie x

The one piece ‘Frame Box Trench’ made in collaboration with @mackintoshofficial_uk from their signature rubber bonded cotton. This garment features laser cut ‘tear away’ collar, chin strap and epaulettes, all one piece with staple clamp closures.
(Remains able to fold into box in last slide)

Torn shrunken sequins, hand stitched onto metallic foil print vest.

Red open screen printed box skirt, one piece, zero waste.

Thank you to @mackintoshofficial_uk for their sponsorship and to the beautiful @teleonie and @elliegrist
