As we’re nearing the end of the year, light lessens and shadows grow. What wasn’t looked at now has a front and center seat in our awareness and avoiding it any longer is out of question.

But don’t worry, just because it’s spooky season, doesn’t mean your creepy crawlies and ghosts from the past need to take over. They just need a space to be witnessed and released.

So on Oct 16th, as the veil thins, I’ll be guiding a cord cutting ceremony, that will allow you to witness the ways you’ve given your power away, have enabled dynamics that drain you, and sooo much more. Truly, there will be no stone unturned when it comes to your heart and what afflicts it. 🌹

We’re also curating the Edge District section of Halloween on Central for the second year in a row on Sunday, October 25th from 12-5pm! This event will span two blocks within the Edge District, from 13th St N (by Hawker’s) to 9th St/Dr MLK Jr St S.

Since our 2 collaborative events this fall are not part of our regular season, we keep them off our date graphics so they don’t get mixed in with our regular season market dates — but mark your calendars, because we’d love to see you at all the events! ☺️

Together, we will gather in a priestess arts circle to cultivate presence, beauty, and true connection—allowing the heart to soften and the spirit to remember its way home.

Sunday Harmonic Sanctuary 🪷

On July 5th, we gathered in the temple to journey within ourselves with the powerful support of Blue Lotus tea. We meditated, journaled, prayed, and journeyed within ourselves with blue lotus as our ally. I shared a sweet practice of connecting with Tatewari in prayer, as each person lit the candle of the person next to them, and spoke their prayers into their candle. Giving thanks to this beautiful, simple, yet profound practice from the Wixárikas.

Each prayer candle was a pillar and guide placed upon their crown, as they journeyed deeper within themselves through sound healing and feather sweeping.

At the end we journaled, shared fresh fruit and chocolate, connected in a light sharing circle, said a final group prayer and anointed ourselves with my custom oil blends made from oils from Egypt. ✨

There were some people who had never been to a community circle, and I feel so honored to have been that doorway for them. Joy, sadness, gratitude, confusion, contentment, all emotions were embraced and honored in the space.

My next ceremony is on August 2nd, and we will journey with cacao, connect with our wombs, and witness one another and be witnessed through dancing. Im so excited to share what I’ve cultivated as a ritual theater performance artist in the next circle. 🫶🏽
