Over the years, we’ve gathered at Makeway as a community to host group discussions and hang out with the next generation of RISE. 💛 It was a space that reflected what we stand for: fostering connection and a sense of belonging for Filipinx youth.

Even as the doors at 91 Walnut close, that impact lives on in the people and connections that carry it forward 🤝🏽

Shoutout to Makeway co-founders @abbyalbino (also co-founder of RISE!) and @shelbylweaver, and the entire Makeway team for the care and commitment you bring to building community-driven spaces. We’re excited to see what’s next! 💥

Nights like this remind me what it’s truly about,
connection, purpose, and community.

This was an idea by Mike G to tap in and kick it with Toronto to connect, share stories, and build something real.
