Mrs. CDA Tackle showed up ready to fish. 🎣🔥 Monique had herself an EPIC day on the Puget Sound with Captain Kyle and Tengu Charters — and by the end of the trip there really wasn’t much debate… She out-fished the boys. 😂🏆 Great fishing, plenty of laughs, and another day on the water we won’t soon forget. Huge thanks to Captain Kyle for an awesome experience! Every Bait Has a Story™ — sometimes Mrs. CDA Tackle writes the best ones. #CDACustomTackle #EveryBaitHasAStory #TenguCharters #PugetSoundFishing #cohofishing

Puget Sound salmon season! 🎣🔥 Later this week, Monique and I are hitting the water with Captain Kyle of Tengu Charters! Captain Kyle has been a great supporter of CDA Custom Tackle and has been putting our 10” Big Dawg Curly Tail Grubs through their paces this past spring chasing Lingcod. Now it’s our turn to get aboard and chase some Puget Sound salmon with him. Can’t wait for our trip. 👀🎣 Stay tuned… #CDACustomTackle #EveryBaitHasAStory #TenguCharters #PugetSoundSalmon #SalmonFishing

Annual potholes trip. The bass were def feeding on Mondays prefrontal conditions. Wind pushed us off the water early on Tuesday :( but we still found some. Biggest fish went 4lb 6oz. Lots of quality bass caught. Water temps were low to mid 60s

Did some Mooching on the salt! Ended up getting one but it was too small to keep. I think my brother got three or four small ones too . . . #SYLM

Captain Kyle Hanada put on quite the show at the first ever Beyond the Breakwater event at the Port of Edmonds. Kyle’s ancestors brought Salmon Mooching to the world right here in Elliot Bay and it’s a method and tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. My personal favorite portion of the night was watching him tie a double hook mooching leader in about 20 seconds. These are the same pre tied leaders we sell in both machine locations! Kyle and his brother operate @tengucharters right out of Edmonds so if you’re looking for hands on experience book a trip and learn from the best.

So thrilled to announce the Beyond the Breakwater series at the @portedmonds with the first event later this month. The Hookup Hut will be the MC and a sponsor and we have been planning this series for the past year along side the Port of Edmonds. The idea is to bring the mariner community together once a month to share knowledge, learn, and spend time with each other. All with the goal of enhancing our skills as captains, crew, sailors, and anglers here in the PNW! We have a stellar lineup already with @tengucharters leading us off. It’s not your everyday speaking event, each one will have hands-on learning and Tengu is bringing the heat. Captain Kyle will be showing how to tie and rig cut plug herring and then every attendee will get the chance to do it themselves! If you have any ideas about speakers or content you would love to learn or if you have something to share let us know! We hope to build momentum and keep the series going well into the future. #hookuphut #tengu #edmonds #marina
