🪩 SOUL POWERED 🪩

29th August — we’re bringing block party vibes to RASA!

Speakers on the pavement, a crowd that came to dance, someone with the right records. That’s where all of this came from, and that’s the energy we’re bringing back — a night of Funk, Soul, Disco, Classic Hip-Hop and the rarest grooves, played by selectors who know how to use them.

Drums you feel before you hear. Basslines that bend your knees. Horns that snap the room to attention. Breaks held longer than they should be.

🎧 On the decks 9 till late: @shane2sweet · @limshbrandon · @z4idj · @raphaellimm

🎤 On the mic: Live performances from @opusrenegade , @slxckbobby and @tengyboy

💃 In the crowd pulling you onto the floor: WATCHA GOT’s @j0jonasty and @raphaellimm — no experience needed, two left feet welcome

👑 FLYEST IN THE ROOM
We’re giving away prizes for the freshest dressed! Threads sharp, kicks funky, vintage heads and sneaker freaks all welcome. Come laced. Come loud. Come correct.

🕺 BONUS GIVEAWAY
Every ticket includes a free class credit at @danzpeople — hooked on the floor? Your next lesson’s already booked.

No VIPs. No superstars. Just a room full of grooves.

WHATS HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND? 🗝️

Friday, 28 Aug >>> The second wave is here. Summer Sixteen lands back at RASA! If you were in the room for their 10th anniversary, you know exactly what kind of energy to expect. We are running it back to 2016: when Drake, Kanye, and Travis Scott were shifting the culture weekly: and tracking the evolution of hip-hop straight through to today's heavy hitters. Catch @prav.wavy, @deejayxg, @feosho, and @asaspadez controlling the Floor. Pure anthems, all night long.

Saturday, 29 Aug >>> We are closing out the month with two completely different frequencies across both rooms.

On the Floor, Ginette Chittick (@ginettechittick) returns with DAYDREAM NATION. Swap your regular dancing shoes for something you can jump in. Expect a full-on sonic assault of 90s and noughties indie rock, Britpop, and untamed punk. Kim (@k.i.m.wong) sets the early tension with a deep dive into alt-rock before the room descends into pure, sweaty, guitar-driven nostalgia.

Over in the Hall, we introduce SOUL POWERED: a proper block party brought indoors. Channeling the raw spirit of Funk, Soul, Disco, and Classic Hip-Hop, we have four groove masters (@shane2sweet, @limshbrandon, @z4idj, @raphaellimm, @tengyboy) on the decks. MC @j0jonasty holds down the mic alongside live acts @opusrenegade and @slickbobby, while the @watchagot.sg crew pulls the dancefloor straight into the cypher. Come laced and loud: there are prizes for the flyest dressed in the room.

Tickets and RSVPs via the link in our bio. Let's make it a massive weekend. 🫂

𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝗘𝗻𝗱 is back with yet another night of DJ/hybrid sets from 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗔, 𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗔𝟬𝟭𝟬𝟭𝟬𝟭𝟬𝟭, 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗥𝗔-𝟮𝟰, and 𝗞𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗻, and live bars from MC 𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗬. 𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝗘𝗻𝗱's 10th edition features a lineup of selectors that all share the ability to navigate a maelstrom of genres with ninja-like precision, pulling every sound under the bass umbrella into one seamless night.

In the spirit of cypher culture, 𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝗘𝗻𝗱 is honored to carry the night for @illegalanglers' battle - SG's tutting and fingertutting community, going down earlier the same day.

With MVP support from @upperserangoonsoundsystem - SG's underground community's very own sound system hero powering the subs and delivering our defining Low End.

Singaporean independent pop artist Estelle Fly ushers in a bold new era with “Bury It”, an intimate and hypnotic single that explores the power of unspoken attraction, longing, and vulnerability. Paired with a music video where the lines between on-screen romance and real emotions begin to blur, the release marks Estelle’s most confident and personal chapter yet as she continues to redefine her sound.
