A place that so quickly became so much more than somewhere to live! Thank you Lord for the past 3 years of getting to serve as house parents for BYX & the many unexpected blessings (and laughs) that came with it. I’ve got a feeling Daniel and I will always talk about the time we got married and moved into a frat house a month later!

God is intentional in every detail. That is what has kept coming to mind as I’ve reflected on my time at @utknoxville.

I never in a million years after I graduated high school would’ve guessed that I’d eventually end up here. When I first arrived, I had so many prayers about what I had hoped to gain. Now, I can confidently say I am the happiest and fullest I’ve ever been. Academically, professional, socially, I’ve grown more than I could’ve ever hoped. I’m leaving this place more confident than I’ve ever been, with a greater understanding that wherever God takes me, He’s got me.

I will never forget these last few years, and I’m grateful for every single second of it. Will always give my all for you, Tennessee! 🍊🍊🍊

Here are some fraternity highlights from the month of February:

Social Shoutout 🗣️ — @baylorbyx wins their campus-wide “Sing” competition or the first time ever, and they also welcomed their largest new member class in their chapter’s history (30 guys)!

Service 🤝 — @okstatebyx recently went and served a camp as brothers showcasing selfless service as a fraternity. Other examples include @gsubyx and @tulsabyx having phenomenal philanthropy initiatives, as well as @ugabyx raising $2,500 for “UGA Miracle”.

National Events 🎉— We held our third Regional Brotherhood Retreat at Sky Ranch Christian Camps with 230 guys attending from 8 different campuses. Thanks @skyranchcamps for hosting us so well.

Alumni Chapter Trip 🏝️— @michiganbyx held their annual Spring Break trip, connecting members and alumni for a powerful real-life experience of lifelong brotherhood and unity in Christ.

Brotherhood 🤟 — Numerous brotherhood retreats took place over the month, including @auburnbyx scaling walls (pictured), @clemsonbyx in the mountains, @ncsubyx snowboarding, and many others.

Chapter Membership Soars📈 — We had 300 guys join BYX across 36 campuses this semester. This brings us to 2,676 total members aka the largest spring membership number in BYX history!

If you have anything you want featured in next month’s BYX recap, DM us with your story and some photos/videos!
