I realized about 4 months ago I needed to figure something out to help with my recovery, fatigue, and hydration.

I luck out and have @tenperformance supplements at our gym so it was easy for me to get ahold of these supplements.

I’ve been taking all 3 consistently for the past 4 months now and I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my recovery, my energy levels, as well as not feeling like I have to be sucking down water all day like I had been doing.

Creatine: I take this daily in my coffee. The biggest thing I’ve noticed has been the small incremental improvements in my lifts. As well as my power output in work outs has increased. I’m feeling more like my old self everyday and not feeling like I’m collapsing under weighted stuff like I had been earlier this year. I’ve also noticed less brain fog but that could also be attributed to vitamin B. Which is my 2nd top supplement I take.

Pro B-Complex Oral Supplement: I’d been noticing for a couple years now that I was struggling with exhaustion. It would only be a day or 2 a week but over the past year I’d noticed I would have more and more days I could barely stay awake through. And after competitions, I was useless. I’d never experienced this before and it had me feeling like I was wasting so much time because I’d end up in bed for chunks of the day when I felt this bad. I figured it was a vitamin B deficiency so I started taking this oral supplement. Which there is some information that says the absorption rate is better doing liquid vs pill. Either way, I’m not crashing through out the week anymore! 🥳

Pro Hydration: Living in Florida, especially during the summer, I feel like I’m also thirsty… or borderline dehydrated. Shane at Ten Performance mentioned this supplement. And once I started using it on hard training days, I pretty quickly notice I’m not nearly as parched. So, this one has also been a game changer for training days.

41 and still getting after it. 💪

I train hard, eat right most of the time but I’m still going to enjoy my pizza and chocolate chip cookies. 😂

The older I get, the more I realize performance isn’t just about training. Recovery and consistency matter just as much.

That’s why @tenperformance has become part of my daily routine. and having a place like @mi40_gym to put in the work doesn’t hurt either. 💪

Train hard. Recover. Enjoy life. Repeat

Always important to surround yourself with good people who work hard and keep pushing you to be better.

Appreciate Shane, owner of 10 Performance & @mlewis_90 for taking a little field trip over to MI40 to get some work in. 💪

Good people. Good work. Always pushing performance forward.

Some days are stronger than others. Still working my way back after bicep surgery. Patience is annoying.

Today’s fun:

12:00 AMRAP
30 Air Squats
3 Rope Climbs

My results: 6 rounds + 30 squats
