My first in person pre-launch event! Choir arrives at 7pm. S.I.N.G will start singing a-cappella style at 7:30pm! Come down to the Old Lodge Lane Parade of shops for community, art talks, chocolate tasting, chocolate making, singing … the vinyl store will be open (Ten Pen Records); the Art Gallery will be open and this evening’s art talk is titled, (roughly) ‘Art as Necessity, Not Luxury.’ #Purley #Coulsdon #Kenley #Art #chocolate

Alan Leeds was President of Prince’s Paisley Park Records, PRN Productions, but was also trying to bridge a relationship between the mercurial artist and his record label, also a major corporation. In this revealing final part of our interview he discusses the many challenges he faced, but also his favourite ever tour, and 2-3 special memories of iconic artists such as James Brown, Prince and D’Angelo. Don’t miss it. #prince4ever #love4oneanother #princerogersnelson #dangelo #jamesbrown @alan.leeds

🎙️ Rio in heels, fear in limousines & general counsel 4 a genius. @alan.leeds tells us that there were clear moments of vulnerability for Prince in the 1980s… where “the Emperor had no clothes”. Essential listening for music lovers, historians and purple heads the world over. #prince4ever #princerogersnelson #princepodcast #love4oneanother #princeandtherevolution 🕊️💜☮️ LINK in BIO 🎧

When you go in to @tenpinrecords on the holiday weekend, looking for that mega rare Louvin Brothers long player, but all you find is a wall of #princerogersnelson rarities. Ah well every cloud ⛅️! Thanks 2 the legends that are Lisa (no relation to Coleman!) Debs (aka that 1999 vinyl party grrrrl), and of course the man the myth the Leg-end Justin (and wow did he bring the hugs earlier). They never “…leave me standing, alone in a world that’s so cold”. Happy Easter 🐣 all, am off to the loft to listen to ‘Small Club’ Prince’s legendary ‘88 Lovesexy aftershow from Holland. 🇳🇱 ☮️ & 💜4OneAnother. #prince4ever #vinyllove #donttouchmyrecords #vinyladdiction @pearlyqueenluv 😎🎧🤩

💿 TAE’s Record Store Spotlight 💿
📍 @tenpinrecords
🗺️ Purley, UK 🇬🇧

Another fantastic record store in the Croydon area.

I visited Tenpin last year and was amazed at the amount of fantastic stock they had in quite a small store. All extremely high quality and you could get lost for hours trying to decide what to spend your money on!

I would highly recommend bringing a heavy wallet to this one!

Same lovely prices, same availability 7 days a week from early til late late, and the same cosy, personalised home based or mobile service. PLUS, new treatments and add-ons, as well as even more clear, detailed info, so you're never left guessing! ✨️

Someone said... You deserve to have some things you treat yourself to regularly - it's really not all just work hard, eat, sleep and repeat. Okay? Okay. 🧘‍♀️

Offering 25% off for your first treatment with me, gives you a chance to try out your new local nail tech - who loves to create everything from classic short nude nails to long bold nail art extensions - aaand spend less while doing it 🤌🏾

𝗚𝗲𝗹-𝗫 (𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀) is a brilliant alternative to acrylic nails, kinder on your natural nails, and by infilling with BIAB (builder gel in a bottle - aka a thick, flexible gel overlay system), your extensions eventually turning into a BIAB overlay on your own long, strong, healthy natural nails - aka the dream! This will be available from Wednesday 4th March, and as a former acrylic girlie, I am converted!

Like all my treatments, this one includes a cuticle push back, lift, trim and clean, along with nail shaping and nail bed prep for polish. Then, to ensure your Pedicure stays pristine, and to support weaker nails, I use a high quality rubber base coat (The Gel Bottle) before applying the gel polish of your choice (included).
