Cor blimey! It is almost Friday already?? You bet your bottom bitcoin it is… and our steamy hosts have got you covered. Take a look through tomorrow’s schedule, we’ll see ya in the chat xx

9-11am, join local poet @bizm.s as they chat through a mix of lyrics, poetry and the spoken word scene in Manchester. This month you can expect a look back at Slamchester and forward to CSL which is in Salford this weekend.

Tune in at www.steam-mcr.com

Ta xx

@tommyxcross has got the late morning snack slot covered this Friday. Great music from all corners of the world to get the weekend started.

New Materials is an irregular party and radio broadcast with a loose music policy: all welcome, all dancing.

@jesskiku from Pollinate talks all things grassroots music, with venues as spaces for music to be shared and shaped. Covering some of her favourite shows, and the importance of independent community sites.

Explorations into mellow oddities, wiggy guitars and of course a healthy dose of dubbed out post-punk to get your weekend off to a flyer!

p.s. steam team top tip…. go check out the new release from scran for the soul host @tentrialsofthem_ on Bandcamp! Wicked demos and the dosh goes to support @medicalaidpal

What a lovely day we had yesterday showcasing the music of @beforeidieprojectsltd Myself and @mighty_clouds_of_harmony started things off under our @arrival.sk guise before @tentrialsofthem_ took over until we were treated to an exclusive live preview of music from the brilliant @jwalk which even JB hadn’t heard. Heads up: it’s flippin ace!
Then the mighty @kon.former finished their tour with a blinding set which all who witnessed will remember for a long time - safe journey home chaps.
Lovely people (@mileshollway and @darklyinclinedtapes included x) in a fantastic venue @red_bull_hillgate thanks to all who came down.

Next up: @beforeidieprojectsltd at Weir Mill Stockport, all day on October 3rd - see you there.
