Nocturnes no.1 by @vincenttransient 🦇 70 minutes of evening melodies to warm the soul. A sprinkle of everything - improvised, ambient, classical, electronic

A few nights ago i had the pleasure of sharing a deeply personal side of myself with a cherished group of people. Playing piano has for a long time been a relatively personal practice for me, beyond the times I was made to perform to a crowd as a child (lol). It’s been therapeutic, a form of creative exploration, and a way to express when words falter.

Lately though, I’ve begun sharing more snippets of this world with friends, and been inspired by others around who share their own practice and passions.

“Nocturnes” was a recent idea I had - an evening of nightly melodies, hearty food and cozy company to beat the winter chill. Also a way to put the hours I spend playing these Chopin compositions to use. Sprinkled in was a touch of improvisation, Four Tet, Fatima Yamaha, Antonio Carlos Jobim and more.

Anyway, thank u for taking the time to read, and I hope to continue sharing more music, in person, to more of you in the near future! The full 70 minutes (raw n uncut) to come soon!Check out me new music page for future things 🫶
