omg I’m STILL thinking about the crispy potato jeon and the house-brewed makgeolli - literally the best rice wine I’ve ever had ⭑.ᐟ they just opened their new restaurant & bar area - their anju/tapas are so unique, come before they get super packed!! highly recommend :) also a cafe during the day ⭑.ᐟ

Made it second and final day
Loved how they restricted 2 cakes per person to ensure more people get to try but they should also realize how difficult it is for us to select two flavors out when each one is uniquely delicious 😋🥺
Got to try White Seolgi and Black Sesame Rice Cakes.
First time trying Rice Cakes and I am a fan now!

Hopefully they open up full time or I get to try other variants at @cafesosohage

And I got to figure out the mic/audio situation

IF YOU’RE EVER IN nyc (right now!!) 🍰

@cafesosohage from seoul is popping up in nyc with their viral rice flour (seolgi) cakes @heen.nyc this weekend only!!

we tried:
🌽 corn seolgi cake
🖤 black sesame rice cake
🍊 earl grey grapefruit rice cake

i LOVED the black sesame cake but all three were so good and unique. u really can’t taste that it’s gluten free either! so yummy

we got in line today at 11am when @teonomadnyc opened and they give u a number when u go in (they let ppl into the cafe around 11:40) the cakes were ready by 12 and they call u up by number

go early tmr bc they cut off the lines around number 80 i think!

@heen.nyc is having their second popup this weekend 10/17 & 10/18 at @teonomadnyc! I was lucky to try out their Korean style rice cakes which is fully gluten free as it’s made with rice flour. I tried out the corn, black sesame, mugwort & injeolmi, matcha berry, and their earl great grape fruit. All of them were the perfect not too sweet and so light! I’ve never had this style of cake before so I thought the texture was going to be along the lines of slightly chewy like mochi but I was way off 😂😂

🌾 made with ice flour, naturally gluten free, a lot fluffier and lighter tasting than most cakes 😋 it’s delicious but less sweet so you don’t feel so guilty!!
