Benjamin Moore said touch grass. We said, have you seen our portfolio?
Oh, Webster Green HC-130, we’ve had a crush on you and your entire green family for quite some time. Thank you @benjaminmoore for making things official!
From moody forest greens to soft sages, glossy tiles, wild wallpapers, and everything in between, we’ve never met a green we didn’t want to put everywhere.
So, in honor of Benjamin Moore’s 2027 Color of the Year announcement, we’re sharing a few of our favorite green moments over the years.

Now, the important question: Which shade of green has your heart?

I’m a purist when it comes to architecture and interiors, which is precisely why trends tend to annoy me. More often than not, they’re simply a reaction to what came before, swinging the pendulum in the opposite direction and making them inherently short-lived.

The problem with chasing trends in the world of luxury interiors is that beautiful, thoughtfully executed spaces are a significant investment. Constantly replacing what was once considered desirable with the next “it” thing is not only expensive, but unsustainable.

Instead, I believe in choosing materials that have stood the test of time: natural stone, classic tile patterns, authentic materials, and living metal finishes that develop character and patina with age.

Take polished nickel, for example. After years of warm brass and gold tones dominating interiors, we’re seeing the pendulum swing back toward cooler silver finishes. Polished nickel may be having its moment, but the beauty of this classic finish is that it never really went out of style. With that said, if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you already know that unlacquered brass is my forever first love. That isn’t changing because both polished nickel and unlacquered brass have an enduring place in traditional interiors —not because they happen to be fashionable, but because they’re authentic, timeless materials that age beautifully with use and time. #katlawtoninteriors
